Buckster
I need a new welding mask, this inverter Tig is definitely producing light at a higher intensity and starts up too quickly for my old mig mask. Anyone here have any recommendations?

Here are my times... Anyone in particular wish to post their own times? Looks like you have found your rugby replacement.

Buckster
I see my VED will cost £125 next month, still could be worse, after years of getting people to switch to electric cars the government are rewarding people with VED of at least £200 a year after the first year plus pay per mile to start in 2028 so if they do 10,000 a year they will be paying at least £500 a year. On the plus side electric motorcycles are exempt and currently only pay £27 a year VED.
Buckster
Well the Harley is partially stripped down now, exhaust system off, transmission and engine oil drained and cam cover off, cam tensioners look okay but I will probably replace the shoes while I have it apart.

I think i have but the pull to play rugby again is still very strong, but my body has definitely paid its dues to the game and drag racing is easier on the body for the most part, im back to the pod on the 11th April

YamaHead
Well, covered over 350 miles today over to Emmett ID & back. Mrs. Hook's appointments went off w/o a hitch...even enjoyed an All You Can Eat pizza & salad lunch for $13 ea. Even after a pretty dry winter, its nice to see the Elkhorn Mtns. still coated w/ the white stuff as we head back west towards home, about to drop into Baker City OR...

Anyone here have any recommendations? I have a mask with a 3m Speedglas lens. I’m no welding expert but I find it pretty good with a good colour transmission and adjustable shade settings which go up to 13 if I recall correctly. I’ve been recommended to try the Sealey panorama, true colour lens with wide view port and very fast react time, fully adjustable, probably going that route.

Most Sealey stuff is rebadged, you could well find the same item cheaper.

Nute
I think they are made by Optrel, but doubtless others stick their own brand label on them. Optrel are Swiss and make respirators and similar stuff.
Buckster
Right now it's raining in the back garden but sunny in the front garden so I'm going to have a cigar in the front garden.

Saul
Out for a last ride on the Sprint before it goes back in the healing shed. New vacuum fuel tap, new fork seals and front brake strip and clean. Down to Meva and stopped in the market on the way back. Back in the shed. To be fix d My Dailey ride for the nexts few days. Certainly a contrast to the Sprint something like 100 kg’s lighter I think.

Buckster
I had a good hunt for some cam chain tensioners I was sure I had but couldn’t find them, I guess I will have to get some S&S billet ones.
