Came to my place for a couple of days, and finally washed all (must) of the Morocco dust and mud out my bike

 

The house was freezing as it’s been closed for a while, am currently burning gas and wood to make it liveable

Old bed dismantled and stored away, new bed assembled and ready for sleepy time.

Got my new mattress, it sprang out of the packaging like a 100lb cobra.

21f & frozen fog on everything this morning.... Mrs. Hook has given me my marching orders for today....out to the garden shed/attic I go to retrieve the Christmas decorations...fortunately, they're all for the inside of the house.

We don't bother with that till after Mandis birthday which is the 9th Dec. And then sometimes we don't bother at all.

Mrs. Hook's birthday is on the 21st, but she's having a knee replacement on the 17th...so I'm glad I got that task completed today. We usually make a trip over to her sister's place in ID for a birthday/Christmas bash visit...but that's been postponed to sometime in January.

I was seriously considering trading the indian but I decided to hold off for another year, I just know Im gonna regret it if I do and the 27 will have a major changes , like the dash pod .

Why replace it so soon? Are you worried to have it with no warranty, it’s still low mileage.

The dash cluster has been identical since 2020 , im figuring that's what will change in 27....this is what I was tempted on...26.

Then all you'll have to deal with is gators & hurricanes....& really flat boring roads. It became blatantly apparent to me just how flat FL is when I rode a roller coaster in Tampa Bay that went up just 200 ft. & you could see the whole flippin' state from there. For me, elevation changes are where it's at....
