I'm at Edinburgh airport.

I've took the liberty of calling friends from boarder patrol telling them a Scottish national will be arriving today carrying drugs...get ready for some cavity searches...lol.

Figure out a way to hold the insulation in place long enough to get the vapor barrier stapled in...using some strings to keep the insulation from falling down...

Why  don’t you just use a laminated plasterboard ( drywall as it’s called over there), less arse ache.

Or put the V B up, leave a hatch then go do it from above?

Plaster boards are the same price has this 7/ 16 presswood boards...

Yes I could have staples the vapor barrier, board the thing , than climb up there with insulation..but  crawling up there wasn't in my plans...and there isn’t much room , 3 feet at the highest point...its a young man sport climbing up between the rafters...

I would have thought someone like you of smaller stature would have found it easy to operate in 3 ft headroom.  🤣

New visor day, retro baby.    Actually very comfortable with good protection.    Only a cheapie chinky but would spend more on a decent one now I have tried a bubble.
