And this is the exact position in the abandoned Petrol Station where I found the oil leak on the 1200GS. As you can see, no such issues with a Honda! I sat and looked at it and thought.....there'll be no problem to start it, there'll be no oil leaks, and the brakes are not going to fail. I could take this thing anywhere and have total confidence and peace of mind. Point of interest here......my first Jap four stroke was a 500cc Honda......the CB500/4 in 1974. Wonder if this model (note I didn't say bike) will be my last? Cos it is that good! The only criticism I'd have is that the suspension is very basic! But the 2022 model on has addressed this with USD forks and upgraded rear suspension, plus twin front discs!
