New fork seals needed as they were leaking quite badly…..

 

Progress has been thwarted though by this plastic bush. It’s meant to sit on the end of the damper rod but sometimes they get stuck in the fork tube like this fecker

Finish still looks good on the forks, are they anodised?

Yes, they don't seem to peel or flake but the colour does fade over time .

So the parts came in the end and the job was completed , no leaking so far so likes the job's a good'un.  New DDC valves were fitted as well.
