Lovely Michelle, beautiful photos again. I hope you find that special spot for your mom to rest .

Thanks Bob.  My trip back up north just a few weeks ago provided just the right spot.

After driving over 1000 kms and then canoeing out into a very remote area for a few hours I found a spot under some trees in a quiet bay.  The turquoise water, surrounding trees, seasonal birds, jumping fish....I think (hope) my Mom likes her final resting place.  We had one last picnic together before I placed her is her resting spot.

It felt right and has given me closure.  😊

Mums available? Cool, if we marry you could call me daddy.

I'm sure most of you don't have the time to watch my longer videos, but I thought to share just for fun. 😊.

Nothing too exciting, just a hike I went on, well part of it at least. 🌿

Superb quality Michelle!

Aren't you missing the bike though......have you still got the Honda?

I sold the Honda along with everything else I owed.....  I do miss riding, but now that I am driving my 4Runner every day I am getting my fix of driving which is good for me right now. 😎

I love stickers, always have. My current collection now lives on Gazoo, my 4Runner.  On April 30th he started out with a bunch and by September 30th his butt was just one big ass party. 😎😆

Then the other day I had a stranger come up and say “I see you like stickers, would you like a few more?”  Of course I said.  They were super fun stickers too!  I also get a lot of people stopping to read the stickers and they always walk away with a smile on their face. 😊

I must have talked to 20 different people this year about owning a 4Runner.  Everyone was sad to not own one anymore.  They are super fun to own, so I completely understand that. 😊

I found some time to edit some of the dash cam footage I collected from my journey. This is our first week. 🙂

I am not sure if I will ever get enough time to edit it all, but this first week was important for my own memories.

Thanks 😊

It has been a busy month.  I hurt my back and wasn't good for much for about a week, feeling better now.  Then the van had a few issues, nothing out of the ordinary for the Dodge Promaster's, just a broken water pump.  But that meant nursing a coolant leak for about a week.  Then there were electrical recalls on the RV section of the van, so that meant a trip into the big city, which was an adventure.  Broken ferries, long waits, driving during rush hour through the city in the dark......craziness. 😆

It got cold for a few days so we had to figure out how to winterize the van and stay warm.  We had a bit of snow, but it is gone now.

Over all our winter spot is working out well and now I need to find some time to get the canoe into the water for a paddle.

Oh, and I was offered a job in the Yukon for the summer.  Not sure if I am going to take it, but fun to get the offer.

How are you Pete?  I haven't been around much to keep up on the happenings....

Nice vid 👍

Pete could do with some lessons from you on picking music 😉

Its a lot browner in some areas than I expected, is there usually not a lot of rainfall?

Yes, it's normally is a bit greener.  There was a super later Spring this year.  Things stayed cold for way longer than normal.  So ya the colours are worn out winter colours still.  It made it hard to travel north as the cold just wouldn't go away.
