Avaricious is a great word, you read them less often now, good job @MooN! I completely agree, I see this often, companies achieve a nice balance between their production capacity, their managing capacity, and the market they want, suddenly everything is going nice and the whole thing is about to hit cruise speed when some fucktard decides to try and turn it up to 11 or 12. I think most companies are driven by quick horny greed instead of brains.

I meant exploitation of brits via third parties, not dealing with them

There’s a market there for you!

Because you’re cheap, that’s why! In the end something that could have costed 90 ended up costing 120.

Update on my mudguard extension. I rode 300km on very wet motorways and there is a significant difference on the amount of water that gets thrown into the back of my upper legs. It’s a success as far as I’m concerned, compared to stock. Riding in rain still sucks!

Mind your own business! You´re like the nosy old lady next-door

A friend is coming over for dinner, it's going to be very gourmet. Frozen pizza and beer

Made it to my home today, after more than two months away. Put some washing on and even though it's not too cold light up a fire to put some heat and dry air in the house. It's been closed for that long and it has rained quite a bit. Tomorrow's job is calling most of my clients in the morning, then packing up everything to take to Morocco, and if the weather is ok I'd like to wash the bike as I rather take a clean bike out even if it's getting dirty again later on. Would also like to go buy some extra ear plugs, but mostly just packing up and getting stuff ready.

It's a normal toll booth.

Took this picture yesterday, right after watching an older dude slowly entering the motorway going on the wrong direction. No news about it so nobody died.

I’ll make a point of it!

Yours will never make it to that mileage. The reason that one does is that they drive it a lot, if you heat cycle things 100 times more they’ll never last as long, never mind the time limit on plastic parts.

Replacing the oil, didn’t need to but I feel better leaving and not coming back right on the limit of 10000km oil use. Also there are a few water drops on the beak. Can’t have that!

It's absolutely pouring down. Picked my brother up from the airport yesterday night so my dog didn't wake ME up early today, so slept a little more. 08:30 tomorrow I'll be at the dealership with the GS, with this weather it'll be an interesting motorcycling day. I hate riding in the wet and am no good at it. Might take the chance to investigate on a better fitting set of rain over pants and jacket, mine is very practical but is 2 sizes too big so it does get tiring if facing a long motorway ride. I do trust in Saint Peter for nicer weather from wednesday onwards ...

Warm muff, or cozy muff, that's what you want on a cold motorcycle.
-
If you’re going to do that daily over winter, and your bike doing very little in weather protection, have you considered heated midlayers?

You didn't let your wife get a coffee on a shop, so to please her you went home and ordered COFFEE online?

I saw one of those the other day in traffic, MG badge attached to some very modern looking small suv, I thought I was seeing things

Funerals in the UK seem to be a lot of fun, compared to funerals here.
