This ended up being a full hour completely stopped, engine off and waiting. Turned out a few people had a much worse day, at least three cars completely torn apart and deaths from the body language of the multiple emts.

You are wrong. With Marcel I didn't know what language he was writing in. Can't understand if klingon grammar is wrong
-
No reason given? Saying why you nominate is effectively most of the fun in doing it. Strong nomination, though!
-
It was ONE drip of oil, inside my garage
-
Da fuck? You're not leaving for selling the scooter! This might be a late play for TOTY!
-
Marcel did pull a keizer soze with this one, though

I'll nominate someone. Someone that has travelled all over the world this year, a year full of heroics and not one picture to be seen. Most contributions were a quick drop by to call everyone a low brow twat, I nominate dearest @Slowlycatchymonkey
-
Just to piss him off, since he never wanted to be MOTY, I'll nominate @XTreme Well, tough shit, Pete! You're nominated now. Nomination is not for passing away, it's for truly getting a kick out of providing a space for people to get together, he took great joy and pride in it.

Doesn’t it get too wet?

They’re E07+ Dakar, nothing gay about them. Plus, it’s a touring bike.

Checked the breather hole for oil in the morning, and only doing slow roadsit looked a little moist but enough that it could be remains of the leak still exiting the rear of the arm. However, took a 20 or 30 mile fast cruise down a motorway to test it, and arrived home to this. only a small amount spread by wind, but I think it’s too much to be residual. Will try and get it fixed next week, second try.

Sunday morning vibes in Arouca, northern Portugal, stop for an espresso. I liked it, stopped at the same small town cafe, a BSA, a Harley, a BMW and then a nicely restaured Macal. Climbed Serra da Freita, 3° up there, made me sorry to have chosen summer gloves. Phone was on the handlebars and died from the cold, so only took three pictures when stopped up there. Brief stop for fuel And back home in time for lunch. A nice late morning lazy ride, maybe 2 or 2,5 hours out.

Isn't moaning a good thing?

It’s all in the hips, I’m told

Nice try, to get out of it.

They tried to be like BMW and looked at what they do with the GS and RT, which except for a longer diff is all that differs mechanically. Would be a nice inspiration but the Africa Twin is not a GS as a starting point for a touring bike.

Does it run on gasoline? You can always drain a bike tank when you need it.

You wouldn’t believe the effort it takes to keep Buckster and Bob from running this place into the ground.

Not my thing. The FJR is a quality bike but I hate the riding position, feels cramped and not dinamic at all. Also a bit heavy on fuel. The NT does absolutely nothing for me. Also a chain on a big touring bike is the most bean counter engineering ever.
