A nice blue I saw on a car today, french / Gordini blue. In the background, behind little brother’s engine.

In Portuguese it would be quilometragem, so I suppose so. I looks ok for the use, it’s just that pesky output seal that might be sealing or not sealing, I’ll try and see tomorrow.
-
I see you went for the Lego decor on the roof. Nice!

Family drama today, and business drama today, overall drama today.

We had one a month or so ago, bin went walkabout and was nowhere to be found in the morning. Returned by itself in the afternoon

Don’t know, late 90s probably

Hence it being looked over. It is running smoothly and very strong, so I am optimistic.

Valves checked today, after 900km. Will check again at 10000, and set the timing after the chains have stretched the initial bit. Also, replaced the gearbox output seal as the new seal wasn't sealing. Will have to go for a proper ride and see if it's sorted now, hope so otherwise my ride for late next week will also be compromised.

I'm not Marcel!

No air box or battery in that drawing? Plus comedy size fuel tank for a travel bike? The rear suspension looks like it came from the 70s. Maybe I'm being harsh, the grass on that drawing looks very nice! Very "Out of Africa"

All that work and then that's the paint he went with?
-
You should let him past just to check it’s not an hallucination in your mirrors

I do like them, on principle. That's it, I'll see about going on a test ride.

I like the idea of going down the road at 80mph doing half the rpms that my bike does. Thing is I struggle to find a proper trip to enjoy that.

I visited Triumph West London when I was there and they were great guys. I wouldn't mind buying a bike from them at all. Sofia got her two Triumphs from there, and still orders parts sometimes
-
I probably won't. Having a Triumph here is not a very nice experience, dealers are twats, their parts service and mechanics are a joke, parts are way more expensive since brexit, etc. Having said that, my mechanic does like Triumphs. A Scrambler with those high pipes is not a bike I would enjoy in Portuguese summer, Steve McQueen didn't need them either.

I'm ok, very sad for him and for how he went. Miss him terribly when arriving home or sitting down for dinner. I'm only getting another one in a distant future. Having said that I do spend a lot of time with Sofia's puppies, and they treat me like I'm their human, so there are dogs in my life.

If you were to have a bike meant for mostly cruise control style of riding, covering some distance on motorways and what you brits call A roads, and felt like having proper comfort, would you be tempted for a cruiser? I sort of feel like test riding a Harley sort of thing with a fairing. Rode a BMW 1600B once, on loan for a day, and found it amazing on the motorway. Don't want to have that as it's too delicate mechanically, but ... what you go for? I tend to not be too impressed by Indian, they always look naff when I look at them in real life. Asking for a friend.

Neither of us took it that way, though. some weird things in Japan

Any other member could maybe re-register and pass as someone else, after they realized they threw a tantrum over bragging with having an imaginary girlfriend. However, in this case the writing style ...

Suzuki was doing pretty shit so they hired him to train the next generation superbike riders.
