I have no submission for this month. I just didn’t feel like riding to places with all the heat.

Just bought a BMW S1000R ( used) which is certainly fun to ride. I need some bar risers to raise the bars a little as the riding position is a bit far forward for me. Lovely engine… Also looked at the XR too which looked nice, just not sure I’m ready for a bike with luggage just yet. Maybe next time. Lots of instructions to read …

I take it it is a unit engine and gearbox all sharing the same oil.

Indian oil is ridiculously expensive, I was going to buy some and change it in the FTR but looking at the cost of it they can get stuffed, I’ll use a diff brand.

Oh I got myself a nice water bottle holder...never was crazy about having one on the bar...it locks in place and you need a special key to release it....Dan bought this real nice phone holder ...with induction charging...almost regret not buying one... Anyway he installed the thing at the hotel...not leaving enough slack for the power cable and at the first turn he pulled the wires out...lol...and screwed up the power cord...it came with extra connector...so we were able to temporarily splice it to get it to work... @Buckster..shouldn't have bought that indian bottle its not even thermos...got another bottle twice the size and thermos.. @Nute...glad to report that amsoil works good...noticed a different smoothness in the cold up shifts...and smoother neutral engagement..

Can you ship a motorcycle without registration out of the UK ?
