The bike is 2 years old today. Haven't reached 10k km yet. Didn't ride as much as last year, I avoided the cold winter days, but I'm still happy with it. Since I took the day off, I went for a ride to a place well known by @Pedro and @Sofia. (the 3.7L are not the average consumption, that's what it drank over +/- 125km)5 points

Here’s some van action, my older daughter and I snow foamed and cleaned up the van she is learning to drive in. We had to as my Mrs had a sense of humour failure over Kady splattering cow shit up both sides of the van. The vans is an old clunker but it will be a great first vehicle for my Eldest She already told my Mrs it’s going to be called the Shaggin Wagon, which didn’t go down well either3 points

If it's anything like the Stan Stevens stage 3 tune I had on my RD400 it will have a powerband as wide as a nats cock and a dramatic thirst. It was fast but close to unrideable on the road. The folly of youth and the perceived importance of bragging rights lead me to ruin a perfectly good bike. Oh well learning is always expensive.3 points

No, you put him in the hands of "experts", although you can't help feeling responsible. You've given him a great life and doing the best you can.2 points

Just been out for a bimble as it is lovely and dry here. Went up to Trago Mills Liskeard to look for some winter gloves, only discover it was pensioner discount day . What a pit of misery that place is. Plus they only had small and medium bike gloves so the whole thing was a bust. Ended up riding up through the Glynn Valley then blasted back down the A30 to St Aweful and across country back to Fowey through Trethurgy and St Blazey. Nice 60 mile trip that and blew the cobwebs away. I gotta say that for everyday bimbling about the CBF600 is a very competent and fuss free machine. I really enjoy it.2 points

I don't care about the pictures, but to be fair the forum's name is Motorcycle Riders. If any of you has still a doubt about the definition of the word Motorcycle... According to the Cambridge Dictionary : - Motorcycle is "a vehicle with two wheels and an engine" - Moped is "a small motorcycle with pedals (= parts that you press with your feet to move forward) that can be used when starting it or travelling up a hill" - E-Bike is "a bicycle with an electric motor that helps to move the bicycle forward even when the rider is not turning the pedals, also often used to refer to any bicycle with an electric motor, including those where you must turn the pedals" Just my 2 cents.1 point

My day has consisted of trying to get a bloody mondeo to regain after the vaporiser packed up and the own kept going. Sorted in the end, then to get my hand down the downstairs toilet. Toilet job was more fun.1 point

Me and my brother took Costa out to near where Sofia lives for surgery. It turned out to be a complete shit show, surgeon wasn't able to do what he promised to do, so the liver was not treated in the slightest. Then he was released too soon, and has had either a bad reaction from the anesthesia or developed an aneurism or has had a little brain damage, we had to go back in and leave him during the night. During the night he was administered more painkillers, against our orders and for no known reason to the surgeon or clinical chief, and spent the day after recovering from that. Now back home and slowly gaining his ability to walk again, but obviously feeling very very poorly. I basically put the poor creature through 2 days of hell with absolutely nothing gained and a lot lost and I feel complete shit for it.0 points
