  1. My Nephew has bought a 1972 MGB GT , he wants to get it serviced, oil filter etc , I have convinced the twat it’s got a Rotary Wankel Valve which sits next to the oil filter and that he should ask about changing that to .

  2. Yes, I discovered that trains are actually fake. I know this as I was out walking and came across some old disused train track, when I looked down the tracks they clearly were much smaller further way and far too close together for a train to run on, clearly proving that trains cannot really exists and run on tracks.

  8. You did start a thread about him......along with @Marcel, @Buckster, and @boboneleg. Having said that, none of those threads were enough to cause a flounce. Not even the infamous Flouncing Floater or the legendary Flouncing Bloater could have had one of their menstrual moments over the contents of those. So if he disappeared because of them, then he fully deserves the title that Saul gave him: Beasty Flounce.

He's like you and Marcel, he owns an engineering firm and is earning loads of cash but forever in work never seems to have any time to enjoy it, and any free time he has now he's out on a quad he bought. Because he's always working he only want's to be out a couple of hours on the bike where i want to be out all day.

  28. Oh and forget his claptrap about the Sun moving through the Universe, it's literally not relevant. the stars you see in the sky are in our own Galaxy, the Galaxy moves relative to the Earth or rather the Earth moves with the Galaxy and all it's stars, the Earth does not move through the Galaxy at any astronomica significant spped, it orbits the centre of the galaxy at 230km per second but then the entire galaxy is rotating with it DUH!. so yes everything appears static although over decades slight movements can be detected. Things far away appear to be motionless but the fact is they are moving at incredible speeds, it's another failing of flat Earthers (Flerfs) to underestimate the size of our Solar system let alone the Milky Way Galaxy and beyond, just a tiny snippet to give some kind of persepctive... If you jumped on your bike and rode to Jupiter non stop at 60mph, how long would it take you to get there, no break/stop/sleeping? 700 years is the answer and our system isn't even a spec of dust compared to the Galaxy we're in, if our Sun was the size of a ping pong ball the next nearest star to it (Proxima Centuri) would be 680 miles away

  33. Fucking idiot, Polaris isn't fixed, even polar scopes of fairly recent manufacture have to be taken with a pinch of salt when using the built in marks for where to place Polaris to gain accurate polar alignment with the Earth's axis of rotation Here's an example of Losmandy brand polarscope reticule, you can see the markings (near where it say's UMi (Polaris), that is where Polaris has to be placed and it changes, it is now out of the markins so alignment can be too far off for accurate tracking of more than 30 sec with a 1000mm telescope, it why we use plate solving to give absolute accuracy for better tracking (plate solving is uploading and image to servers that identify precisely where your telescope is pointed by analysing the stars in the image) it takes two separate images to be plate solved by rotating the mount on it's RA (right ascension) axis the program then gives a visual as to which way to move the elevation and azimuth controls to get it spot on, taking more images each time and plate solving after each move. These fuckwits really ought to do their homework properly as the people who listen to them should.

  36. Our daughter is trying to get rid of her old sofa, it's in decent condition, anyway, with her and hubby being at work wife put it up for sale. A guy text last night, says he will send a courier for it with the money, told her to count the money and sign a receipt with your full name And says can I also have your address and postcode, your mobile and house phone number and e mail address. Do you think this is a scam?

  37. I thought the connection maybe a prob for you. Mandi takes her work laptop with her when we go anywhere, if the connections bad we can often hotspot one on our phones to get her going.
