  1. I think he felt sorry for me after I told him I’d been out for a ride with you……….he muttered something about “¡Oh, ese coño galés!”

  2. About to head back to the UK. Not looking forward to it, the solar installation isn't going smoothly, both of my sons are behaving like incompetent teenagers (even though ones 21 in a couple of weeks and the others 22), I have a pile of jobs waiting for me that are all demanding and now one of the guys is quite unwell and unlikely to be fit enough to work tomoz. For some unfathomable reason I now have Annie Lennox 'Thorn In My Side' stuck in my head Run away from you Was all that I could do Run run run run

  13. Have you tried looking under the Spanish number plate to see if there's a UK one there, and do the frame and engine numbers match, a lot of bikes gone missing from here they must be somewhere LOL

  14. Is it possible your ex remarried and their surname changed?

  15. Possible but very unlikely. They all use independent systems with unique identifiers like barcodes for confidentiality. The trust I worked for used three different systems that were unconnected. Our local trust also has three completely different systems. Even when you had the person in front of you, name, address, DOB sometimes you still couldn’t find them on the system. It’s why the NHS can’t move away from paper, it’s a jumbled mess. Some of the GP services are linked but the NHS spent 6 million on a connected system that was abandoned and under investigation for wasting money!! If you knew the which GP practice group they belonged to you might be able to do it that way but basically the taxman is the only person with any reliable access.

  16. Plenty of work around here to keep this Redneck busy for awhile... Currently waiting for compensation for a Permit drawing set I did for a local guy here....amazing that I moved 300 miles away & drawing business still comes & finds me. (2) motorcycles to assemble....2nd truck needs a fuel pump....work bench is still waiting for me to assemble the drill press I have....then I can finish my Ski's! This weather we're experiencing right now....perfect for the never-ending yard work....but NOT before I get a Ride in.

  17. You're so fucking clueless and thick it's unreal. It's actually to trace somebody. Just about everybody here knew that except you.

  18. Oh it’s definitely going back in to be sorted. The other thing I’ve just noticed is that the ignition switch sometimes doesn’t want to turn and not only that I can pull the key out while it’s running! Can you imagine that fucker coming out whilst I’m doing 120klm/h, I’d never find it.

  19. Would you believe it! Just wheeled it out of the garage in preparation for collection and the fucker started no problem whatsoever! FFS……maybe not a reg/rec issue then? Possibly a dodgy ignition?

  25. Persuaded the Super Light to fire up and headed out for a bimble with a friend on an 888 SPO. Back to the '90s! Beautiful weather and between the ride and a conversation we had I decided the SL is NOT going to get sold next spring. During this stop I got a text asking me to take some photos at a weddding that evening but before that my wife got us tickets to a show. So a busy day for me. Ok, fine, this all happened yesterday but I'm slow to post and who really cares when anyway?

  26. That’s actually true. Only Harley riders spend more time polishing than riding so maybe you need to trade that Honda in mate

  33. Reestreno have got a couple but they're the earlier ones with 17" wheels. Everybody always says the 500X's are small (and in terms of cc they are) but it was surprising to see how much physically bigger it was than the FZ6. And not much different to the Tracer!

  34. I’m hoping they will collect it, they had no problem collecting g the z750 when I had the fuel tank problem. That was unrideable and so is the Fazer.

  41. I got the long hooked end red hot with the induction heater and just rolled the hook down until it was a circle with a long nosed pliers and then trimmed it off with a disc cutter to make it a hook again if that makes sense and then dipped it in water to cool it down so the hook wouldn't be soft and stretch out. It needs to be a little shorter but the induction heater went bang so i just found a spring the right length on line and ordered that

  42. In-between riding and washing bikes today i done a job on the dog I've been meaning to do for years. The side stand sits horizontal and when riding through deep ruts with rocks in it gets pushed against the swing arm, you can see the piece of plastic i cable tied on there to protect the swing arm in the photo below and also the wear on the foot of the side stand where its been dragging on rocks. I ground the side stand stop until the stand moved above the swing arm out of the way like it is on dirt bikes and shortened the spring a little and blowing up my induction heater in the process i think i will replace it with a better one as it's really handy. While i was at it i welded a disc to the foot of the side stand to stop it sinking in soft ground something i had done in the past but had to cut it off when i found out it was hitting the swing arm and then applied a nice lick of paint to finish it off.
