Thanks Bob. My trip back up north just a few weeks ago provided just the right spot. After driving over 1000 kms and then canoeing out into a very remote area for a few hours I found a spot under some trees in a quiet bay. The turquoise water, surrounding trees, seasonal birds, jumping fish....I think (hope) my Mom likes her final resting place. We had one last picnic together before I placed her is her resting spot. It felt right and has given me closure.6 points

My favourite when I used to drive an illegal car, was to go for a blast when FCPorto was playing the Champions, or any FCPorto vs. SLBenfica match, or a Portugal vs. anyone in the quarters forward. Yours is going to be golden to stretch the legs on that Suzuki, tells the rozzers you were late to watch the funeral on the tele if a fine ever arrives in the mail. Portugal just announced 3 days mourning to the Queen, too, a sentiment rather than people not working, but a nice gesture I think.2 points

When i was about 14 they were constructing the A470 past my old mans house to Merthyr i was always out looking for things to pinch. One day I'm walking along the dirt road they created for their plant to travel along when a big four wheel drive tractor came bouncing towards me it was flat out and all over the place and skidded to a stop along side me followed by a massive cloud of dust, i thought i was in for a bollocking for being there but when all the dust settled it was just my mate he pinched it a few miles up the road and like you i had to have a go2 points

I was looking for something today and found a photo of me n mi bro from yesteryears school days. Got my child hands on a bottle of creme de menthe. We laughed our heads off n used sellotape to tape up our schnozzes n mouths to create joker grins Your turn, youthful pics of pleasure, pain or outright coolness.. or nerdiness.. its all cool.1 point

That was the point I was trying to make @Pedro Most people here would use a tyre shop rather than go to a motorcycle dealer. Motorcycle shops here are generally not interested in fitting tyres. I fit my own but in the past when I have used a tyre shop I generally take the wheel off myself and then let them fit the tyre/tube.1 point

Electric start, it was over then. Make people kick start their chit, see what happens. Its like when we gave women the right to vote, then they used it, look what happened. Like that. Filed under, What Tym said.1 point

Tank top photo at about 12 years old taken on a school trip to France (Le Treport) and the posing stud muffin photo taken in Florence when I was just 17. The next day I dislocated my left shoulder for the first time showing off in front of some French nurses while pissed up. Wounded soldier photo taken somewhere in Pisa.1 point

Rover V8 into MKII escort. Got it back on its wheels and realised it needed some suspension modifications. Drove it and realised it needed better brakes, sold it to a numpty at that point who killed it a month later.1 point

Yeah, we were only 19 at the time. We didn't even measure anything before trying it , but like you say you're better off tuning the Mini engine .1 point

What @Pedro and @yen_powell said about temperatures Modern tubes have a lot of butyl , much more than the natural rubber tubes we used to use years ago. How old are your tubes , are they the o/e tubes that came with the bike or has a previous owner replaced them with cheap shite ? As @Buckster said, buy the best tubes you can. I nearly always try to use Michelin tubes (personal choice) as they work well for me .1 point
-
Never had a bike other than bicycle that had tubed tyres so I can't help, though it does seem to point towards porous tubes or the valve connection is corroded but I'd expect them to go flat rather than just lose a small amount of pressure over night. I'd replace the tubes as due course to rule out a set of dodgy tubes im sure they are easy enough to get changed and cheap enough1 point
