We don’t tend to have basements here, they always bloody leak. Older houses might have cellars, often where the coal was poured into directly off the street, but they were never designed to be dry.

No such thing as OSB plywood. There’s chipboard which is usually used in furniture as it’s usually not load bearing, there’s plywood, and there’s OSB which means Oriented Strand Board.

I know...but they still call it plywood over here..

Took the Dacia in for its MOT this morning,  waiting for the dreaded phone call to say what the outcome is.

Received a letter from hospital, MRI results,  no change in the tumours size, happy with that.

You'll need armoured probably 18mm if you're taking it from the consumer unit in the house out to the new build

No i didn't have a friend teach me, that was an instructor, thats how we do it over on this side of the pond.

As I say dont take my word for it on the size but you'll definitely want armoured cable

EML came on on the car today, fault code says something to do with the MAP, probably a vacuum hose off in the turbo charger circuit, the vacuum pipes are routed all over the place, made worse by bodging a TiK pipe to suit instead of getting the right one.

Finally dug the fuel pump out from the tank on my GMC S-15 yesterday....ordered a new one from Rock Auto, that'll be here by Friday....just shy of $90. Still kinda miss my old '83 GMC squarebody....I replaced the mechanical fuel pump on it once....20 bux across the counter!😲 Those days are long gone now...🙄
