Took a gentle run up the mountains today to explore some of the small roads and tracks. Chilly at the top but always helps when the cafe is open! I’m a lucky boy as it’s 30 mins from my house and I’m also only 10 mins from the Mediterranean beaches.

Tough life. ??

Brilliant Ray, some great scenery there.  Good that you can actually get out on your bike at the moment.

Did you identify any puddles Bob?

Cos it seems you've been there? :classic_laugh:

Don't mind him @Grasshopper's Ride, these brits are surprised when they see anything other than a 90s sports bike, they´re not used to discerning tastes.

Great views on that road up in the hills there @Skippy, do you know what kind of altitude you climb to over there? Weather is wonky, climate change is upon us and it means temperate climates will get colder while cold climates will unfreeze, worrying times, might as well go for a ride in the meantime.

How do you like the coffee in Spain? I ask because I find it hateful as soon as you cross the border, maybe with some milk it disguises it.

Cheers mate, it was a good spin out. That building isn’t the abandoned one but another that has a hotel and restaurant in it now.

I didn’t check on the satnav but the highest point is something like 1,580 amsl but that’s the military early warning post and you’re not allowed up there. However, I also went through a small village called El Berro and that’s 650m amsl; I’m guessing that the snowy bit was about 1,000m amsl.

As for the coffee, I love it and it’s so much better than the instant shit that I was subjected to as a teenager in the UK. ??

We'll try and meet up sometime this year........when the weather warms up a bit and neither of us have restricted movements.

Great stuff, makes me want to throw my cameras into the pond we have nothing like that here!

Yeah but you’re bound to have things we don’t and for me that’s the beauty of it. Everywhere has something unique. ?

Just after I took the photo a couple of cyclists came the other way and the first one hit his leg and went straight over the edge. Good fucking effort. ?

Sheds and caves are for the fancy folk, Himalayan owners don't require such comforts.

That’s true, mine stays at the back of the house under a cover and the car port. Mind you, the weather here allows it. ?
