Thank goodness you came out of that mess unscathed.

I saw them at the Cornwall Coliseum, which was at Crinnis Beach. Can't remember the year. Loved the Stranglers.

Yeah it was talking about my L Plate mates that reminded me of it, Peaches and the album itself was the soundtrack of the summer for us. Down at the Beaches looking at the Peaches.

True mate, I was wondering if all my old mates and I met up to do that again if we would behave any better and I really don’t reckon we would . Nothing like a group of old codgers unleashed . In the summer us L Platers we used to stay at Polmear Cafe playing Asteroids with the Jukebox on the go trying to pull a holidaymaker until thrown out, then race over to Highway Cafe until thrown out of there. Spent bleddy hours doing it. If we were flush and feeling a bit brave we used to go down to the Wimpy at Crinnis Beach and then into the Amusement Arcade. Always risky as the St Austell lads didn’t like us St Blazey boys much. Had many dust ups with them but there were only 15 or so of us, there were many more townies so it depended if they were mobbed up or not as to the outcome. Also one way in and one way out of Crinnis Beach.

Well not really but I had to fuel up my bike this morning and as the fuel station is only a mile from my house I always like to get a few miles under my belt rather than just do such a short journey. Had a bit of a trip down memory lane this morning, when me and my L Plate mates used to do a trip of the 4 local motorcycle dealers every Saturday morning to see what they had. Of course they are all gone now but it was good to do the circuit just the same. After the loop we used to go and hang at Polmear Cafe until kicked out then headed to St Blaise Park to wait for the football. Couldn’t even get in there now all locked up. Never like that back in the day. I also popped down to Porthpean Beach to have a look. Also found a lot of these things hanging around different spots in St Awful Finally a little gift left on my phone from my Darling 18 year old daughter mental cow, as I tell her often. Sorry Pete found no corpses.

I know, that's the point.

I don't doubt Usyk would win but I reckon an awkward, heavy handed, rangy southpaw would make it much more interesting than most of the other propositions out there at the moment, possibly with the exception of Greedy Belly who won't fight him.

Some great pics pete, I just get the feeling you aren't going to be happy unless you find a corpse out in the desolate abandon wastes you visit. Managed my 64 mile commute to work and back yesterday on the bike in the sun.

Zhang vs Uysk gonna be an interesting fight.

Wow that was a close shave, glad you came through ok. Good idea for a thread though. I have had a couple of close calls but the one that sticks out to me for sheer stupidity happened when I was a teenager, funnily enough. I never learned to swim, even though I lived by the coast my whole life it didn't interest me. Anyway one night I and a load of mates went across the river to a disco at the Waterfront Yacht club in Polruan. 20 or so of us travelled across the river in a mates 14 foot punt. Way to many and we only had about 6 inches of freeboard, but we were young and daft and no fucks were given. All good, we made it to Polruan had a cracking night all pissed as mattresses. Much giggling and carry on coming back across the river and a daft twat in the bow decided it would be a good idea to dip his head in the water to clear it, he managed much more than that with such little freeboard the bow dipped under than the boat went straight down. Now we are all bobbing in the river, luckily for us it was summer, flat calm and warm. Unluckily for me I was in the middle of the river and couldn't swim, after some drunken panic the Eliot twins dragged me across the river to safety. They were two stunning 5'11" girls who both swam competitively. Thank goodness they were there as I wasn't the only idiot that needed help. We all got out fine and still laugh about it now but things could have gone the other way quite easily, the Lifeboat Cox corned us all at different times and gave us a well earned severe bollocking. We should have known better. But it was a valuable life lesson and I took swimming lessons as soon as I could after that.

That is cheaper than I thought it would be, not that I really looked into it just thought Ducati mega bucks.

Told you I am like a cat now.

Nah she is young and giddy/feisty. For some odd reason she is called Blackberry (Berry) and belongs to my mate. His girls won’t ride her as they haven’t the confidence. My Chloe is fearless and has taken to her, they rub along pretty well together most of the time. To the point that Chloe begged her mother to loan Berry for her, which she has. Now all of that is second hand as I know next to fuck all about the hairy great things.

I am like a cat now, always land feet down.

Just finished watching Sherwood on BBC iplayer. Bloody brilliant, binge watched it in two nights. Worth a look if you like detective stuff and remember the Miners Strike.
-
Are out of your fucking mind . I wouldn’t get on one of those things. No clutch. Anyway it would have to be a big fucker to carry me Also the bleddy thing was playing up today and wouldn’t do as it was told. Poor Chloe was in tears during her lesson as she got so frustrated. All good in the end but you would never get me on one ever.

I was only messing with her mate, I didn't mind really. Up to your ankles in mud is part of rural life here and I suspect most places, now having the wrong shoes on in it could be a bit of a pisser

Just been messing on YouTube sorting some horse vids and came across this video of my old Chinky CG clone. I took this video for part of my for sale add and it shows the condition of the bike after 4 years and 12k miles of commuting. Just goes to show that Chinese stuff can last if it is looked after.
