Just got back from testing out my new lid. Head butted a few flies. I’m chuffed to bits with it though, very comfy, light and quiet. As I got home the youngest phoned to be picked up so I jumped on the bike and grabbed my Viper lid. So going straight from the C3 to the Viper and the difference was amazing. For the lid test I went up the Chequered Flag (Slag) as it involves a blast along the Liskeard bypass. 10 miles at 70 to 80 mph. Impressed with how quiet it actually was. As I pulled into Chequered Slag a BMW guy came in behind me, as I got off and said hello, he just turned his back, nice! Nothing has changed there then Anyway had a cuppa and headed home. Unfriendly BMW guy had a nice bike, no wonder he wouldn't lower himself to speak to a Honda Jockey.

Yeah I did but I chose the path of self harm and stayed here.

I can second that I have over 2000 miles in my hands on my CB500 and the chain has not needed to be touched apart from lube.

You will be fine, good machines that hold their value well.

I don’t mind but I do like a Scandi. It does depend how well the sound is done.

Just watching The Chestnut Man on Netflix. Dark Scandi detective drama but clever and compelling.

I don’t mind the CL. I had several looks at them up at Damerells. Don’t like the tacky add on kit, but I don’t mind the bike and it’s looks. Not sure it would be my first choice but I could live with it.

Yep I would be up for that

Yeah you are telling the converted I have been interested in Yoga for awhile as I need to get fit again. The problem I have found is whenever I have enquired locally I have been left with the feeling that they are batting away a perv. I.E. me . I will explore the online idea though but even so it’s always easier to go to a gym session or whatever than practice at home. I mean I am absolutely committed to singing but the stuff I find to do before actually practice that is sometimes shocking.

I haven’t researched it recently but the last time I checked there were male and female classes but they weren’t scheduling male classes as there was no demand. I didn’t look any further than that. I will look into the Amazon idea and look on YouTube too.

To give this thread some closure I finally got my Helmet today. I initially ordered a C4 Pro in my size but true to what everyone said I needed the next size up which of course they didn’t have. Anyway I returned it for a refund and waited and waited for new stock to arrive. Of course being biking season everybody wanted new lids. I bought a cheapie Viper lid in the meantime that works fine but is noisy. Anyway I changed my mind and ordered a C3 Pro in the next size up and it came today. It fits but is snug which I guess will ease a little as it breaks in. Lovely lid though and so quiet. I can wait for a long ride to try it out.

I would love to, but the only Yoga classes near me are not for men.

I can still flat foot full squats, to many years of squats and deadlifts for rugby core strength . Loads of cracks and creaks from my knees but they still do work under protest. Not that it's any use the rest of me is still worn out.

Hello Mate and welcome.

House was like the Marie Celest so I bimbled up to Damerells to get some lunch and look at the bikes. Aside from the demonstrators and sold bikes there was only about 10 bikes actually for sale. Definitely silly season. Anyway I sat outside for lunch and had a chat with the CBT instructors who I know and this chap rocked up on a Interceptor from Switzerland. Not an everyday occurrence. He proceeded to charge his oil in the car park and mingled with the Daddy day care old fart crew. Interesting fella. Chucked a pair of saddlebags on his bike and travelled across Europe and on a whim.

You'll notice how far away it was from everything else. He reckoned it is worth £15k and to be honest I believed him. I would pay it if I won the lottery.

I wish I hadn't googled that, suppose I know what it means now and got some relationship advice at the same time . In answer to the question I do like a tank bag and a Bagster makes that easy, but I do see your point.

I spoke to a Harley rider last night that is going to Naseby. I asked him if he was going up with the local group. He made me laugh as he was adamant he wasn't riding up with them and was less than complimentary.

It was simply stunning. Local bike to.

A new bike night started last night at Sam’s Diner next to Cornish Market World last night so I popped in on the way to choir practice. Some interesting stuff to look at all local bikes, I knew some of the lads so it was a good way to spend an hour. About 25 bikes in total.

I don’t doubt what he’s written was for effect but I think he was right on this rare occasion. Basically calling out the presses handling of the story.
