  1. I am trying hard to get over being obsessed with getting a 1970's XL185. Can't afford it, don't need it, prolly wouldn't ride it much, but want it
  2. Amen, prolly 1980 for me but I get the sentiment.
  3. Well I am on my 3rd bike this year. Started on the Himalayan, got the CB500F in January then traded up to the Hornet in early October. Been a bit of a whirlwind really but really happy where I ended up. Love the Hornet and intend to keep it for some time. I have had a shit year health wise, won't bore you with the details, but on the mend now. My family is all good, youngest has a grip on her mental health issues and is happy, middle one is happy, as always, and in College starting her last year. Oldest has a steady job now, which is something I though I never would say, and appears to be happy. The Darkness is ok and the dear boy is in rude health so all as good as I could expect really. Had an adventure with a different job that didn't work out so back out of hours with the NHS. Happy in my work so can't moan to much.
  4. I have met several CB500 riders over the summer only one mentioned having water pump issues. Doesn't prove anything but just my experience.
  5. Full moon in Looe @ 01:58 am.
  6. Been listening to this on loop. My group is learning it at the moment and I am memorising the bass line. Kimber's Men are a class act. Especially John Bromley the bass.
  7. Would be the AT for me too, i fact nearly was a couple of months ago before I got the Hornet.
  8. What I did on Saturday. Obviously not upside down but it's what you get when silly old fuckers get camera phones. Still sounding good though.
  9. Nadelek Lowen. = Happy Christmas in Dalek
  10. Reacher season 2. Entertaining, silly bollocks but still entertaining
  11. Probably that he was hypoxic and put his boots on the wrong feet brought on from wearing a face mask like all those operating theatre staff for the lat 60 or 70 years.
  12. I'm working tonight at 23:00 until 08:00 then down to Falmouth tomorrow to do this at midday Then home to sleep, while most of my mates are going on the piss and do lots more singing. Might stay for awhile depending how knackered I am. Then working Sunday 22:00 - 08:00 and Monday 22:00 - 08:00 Christmas dinner is in there somewhere.
  13. Yes it is fucking awful, luckily that is the only place you can see most of it. 1950's brutalist architecture. Very Soviet.
  14. Out with the Dear boy this morning. Grey day with nobody around. My old secondary school. Left there 42 years ago but still live within 500 metres of the place. Lawhire house.
  15. I have had both as loaners, and I could find very little between them. Just sat lower on the Meteor, I just like the look of the Classic, especially with the Chrome tank. Doubt I would actually own one yet but I liked it nonetheless. Now if I could get a Honda SL350 like the green one in the video I would probably buy one.
  16. Me too. RE are selling these hand over fist for 4K ish so no reason Honda wouldn't
  17. I am sure it would, but nobody would buy a 20BHp 350 expecting to tear it up. But if they brought the SL and TT versions here as well, they look stunning.
  18. They will sell in numbers if they come here, especially if they get the price right.
  19. True, not that I would have bought one either but it looks like a marketing disaster to me.
  20. Be worth asking BT if you have been switched to a digital service mate. May be nothing to do with it but worth asking.
  21. Clive have you been switch to a digital phone line by any chance?, there has been a bit of a furore over BT switching people without their knowledge and there personal alarms not working.
