Well, it is chinese

I started with the 21 Transalp, and then the 21 inch XR, the GS1150 felt natural as does the current one. However, I have ridden a few 17 inch bikes but all sporty bikes like Sofia's Speed Triple.
-
I've never ridden a bike with a 17 inch wheel but a proper traillie riding position like a Tracer or a Multistrada, have you?
-
Something bad is triggered in me when someone goes to the effort of putting a small mat on the floor to protect the carpet and then park the bike with one of the side stands off it.

The post office called asking for my address since the package only had the town's name and my house number It's a small package ...
-
@Buckster, do you think they might be the same?
-
I don’t know, I know of someone who is in trouble with the tax agency from information that could only have been accessed through his private online purchases
-
Down to the T, tax revenue offices must only be waiting for the case to pile up before knocking on the door.
-
i’ve now used Aliexpress: the order was shipped without street name in the adress! I’m now imagining a chinese guy wandering around my town asking which house is number 9

This was in Portuguese national evening news! Basically two world class gorgeous hotties marry each other, praise the lord! Praise gay marriage!

I wouldn’t eat today’s people, at leat black pigs eat from pasture, people eat all kinds of crap.
-
I know how they work, and how you’re supposed to work too, it’s just I rather people just bring me the chorizo instead of watching the pig being slaughtered. In the case of something being used with violence, I really prefer not to be involved with any of the assembly.

You insane? Everything was tightened with a torque wrench, that’s the only way I could get in the car in the first place!
-
No, I would really not. I have trouble thinking things are tight enough right until the point they break from over tightening. I once put my track car’s suspension together after having the shocks rebuilt, a long time ago, my first time on track in Germany and approaching a very rough corner I thought: “great… now if it creaks I won’t know if it’s half loose (from my work) or poorly rebuilt”
-
I would be wearing a full body armour if test riding a bike I assembled from a box sent from China

The squared headlight on the other pictures is hideous

It’s the widgets, Chris

To me that’s quite the culture shock, that’s the opposite of portuguese biking. Few people here use that suit to go on big tours even in the winter on big bikes. Small bikes like that you’ll see miserable guys in freezing rain in the winter, half in hypothermia when they stop halfway to work for a coffee and schnapps love a good culture shock.

Watch out for the one eyed eels, that’s what they say!

Do you go on emergency rides, @Saul? I used to have a friend who was a nurse and paramedic, he used to drive a doctor around on one of those quick emergency assistance cars, like these: Quite dangerous stuff, sometimes.

Yes, broadway show tunes, I stopped listening to them because all the tapdancing was making me wonder about my valves
-
It'll be ok, cars don't tip over.

I have it at maximum when going at over 100kmh, with the plugs on. Without the plugs that's way too loud. I have no limits set, so it goes at full volume. I have tried an assortment of plugs over time, silicone ones with filter were nice because they lasted a while and you could easily wash them but they would often not seal correctly and were quite annoying to then fix over and over since I'd only notice at starting the engine, then went to foam ones because they isolate the best, and tried custom made ones. The custom ones were made in a place that makes hearing aids, and were complete shit, they simply fall off, I think they might have switched moulds with other client, they're crap and I cried over that money. So went back to foam ones, they're the comfiest over long rides and the most reliable, I buy these from Ohropax and am quite happy with it. I also carry a mini weatherman on my jacket, and use the small pliers to fish them out if they slide in too far

I never stopped using earplugs, it does quieten down the level of music but also filters out a lot of the noise.
