I know this might be a daft question to make, but is there any GPS device that works similar to a phone using google maps? I would love to have something that uses and accesses google maps information and is easy to use both as a navigation device but also as checking where you are and what's around you like you can do on google maps, but isn't as poor in handling strong sunlight and temperatures. A normal phone doesn't like that, and I'm not sure sure about those rugged ones. I use my iPhone when on the bike, and love that. It works fine enough and when it gets too hot for it to handle I just don't use it on the handlebar, however, I'm facing a conundrum. Going to Morocco later on I'll have to buy a second phone as I'll need to keep my current portuguese number working properly for work reasons, but that doesn't give me a lot of data usage for Africa. So, I'll have to carry a second phone with a Moroccan card or buy a phone with two cards, having been stranded once before it's not a bad idea to have two phones, but here's my thing. I like taking pictures and having them on the picture app in apple, with all the maps information on there, so an iPhone just works for me. On the other hand, it'll probably get a little too hot in several days, and I might stray off the road for a while in conditions where I like the device I'm using for orientation to keep working! I'm not keen on carrying two phones plus a third gps device, and also don't really like gps devices and their limited information and databases, I don't want to load routes and shit like that beforehand but just go and wing it on the day having decided where to go. Any suggestions on a device that isn't as fragile as a mobile phone but works like one with navigation?

Good stuff! Those lanes look friendly enough for most bikes too, so none of that flipping your bike backwards and have it landing on you stuff!

The coolest cemetery I ever saw was an old one in Malmo in Sweden. Only a few timesafter walking next and through a park with trees did I notice there were headstones near some of the trees and amongst some bushes. All stone and marble has a very cold and austere feeling to it, plus on a bright sunshine day they’re sometimes blinding with brightness from reflections.

Because you’re a cool dude, I’m not going to joke about she dating twins. That sucks.

There’s 5 helicopters fighting it, plus people on the ground. It’s windy too and dry grass around so far from ideal. There’s no rain in the forecast. There’s not goingto be proper rain in the south until mid to late September at the best, and lately “at best” isn’t the reality for rain. For proper rain that has an effect on water levels and fields hidration, that’s October or November at best.

To me, I’d like them to be greener, it’s all stone and marble, but unless you water grass it wouldn’t work.
