  1. I don’t know what kind of report I’ll post. It’ll be very emotional so maybe less of feelings and things and more like a few pictures a day.
  2. See? Just happened, I smiled at @Sir Fallsalot laughing at my previous post, and @Sir Fallsalot could be aware my of my smiling had I had a reaction button for it
  3. And, this is back on! Tomorrow I’ll be fitting tires on and having the oil changed on the bike. Then I plan to be in Morocco at the end of next week! It’ll be a couple of unbearably difficult days when I get there, I’m sure, but if the weather helps, and I have booked good weather, it’s going to be a cool and cold ride! With monkeys!! I had a couple of months of smooth sailing at work ahead of me, and started to get momentum going for Morocco, but as soon as I called my mechanic today for tomorrow’s works on the GS my main supplier announced a surprise price change. This will create a lot of chaos and orders lists and long fruitless conversations, that I plan to be able to handle tomorrow and monday, then pretending that I have a weak cell signal for at least two weeks
  4. I think we should be able to react to some’s reaction of our posts. Just know I saw that me telling @Buckster not to bottle up his feelings made @Sir Fallsalot laugh, that in itself made me laugh but there is no way to express that. I want to express my feelings towards someone else’s feelings
  5. Actually, just went to look at it and he surely closes for lunch, as he should. Here people do work long hours though, most of my clients are at their office at 8 or 08:30, spend the day either there or hustling visiting clients, an hour long lunch break, and will still call me at 19:00. I know a couple of them, business owners and quite successful that will plan on going in on saturday morning hoping for a quiet moment to themselves in the office, to see that turning into a full day, then going back sunday morning for that quiet time to think about stuff, and only end up taking sunday afternoon off. I don’t envy that, although I do value it.
  6. That’s northern Portugal! Except me, apparently
  7. Don’t bottle up your feelings it’s bad for you
  8. O Sapateiro https://maps.app.goo.gl/RFXPHRudwfJJQvqb9?g_st=ic
  9. No, they are chukkas with a softy rubber sole, not the proper ones. My shoe guy did it for 8€ though, and 15€to fit Vibram soles on my biking boots that Dainese soled with cheap shit.
  10. There’s page 1, with the announcement
  11. Those look ver nice, but this is the to get if you’re a Belieber
  12. I wear a pair of resoled urban style chukkas from Timberland, for walking Costa when it’s not summer. I’m not hiking to base camp
  13. I don’t like smoking, though. But on the other side am curious about having alucinations
  14. They deleted everything that crap, and ended up with one page
  15. When I lay awake at night I’m either thinking about some uncomfortable work calls I’ll have to make on the next day, or a client’s order that will get delayed and ruin a project, or think about everything I care about dying and how I’m going to have to deal with the pain and troubles of it all. _If life is at all worth it, etc, Good stuff! Or I drink, fall asleep easily but wake at 3 or 4am to then spend an hour or two wide awake with no thoughts bothering me, to then fall asleep at dawn and wake up exhausted. The times I fall asleep when I want and get to 7 or 8 with nothing bothering me are treasured.
  16. Looked at one with the petronas color wheels the other day. It's all kind of ugly but I like it.
  17. I used to play Civilization and Stunts. Stunts was a very basic car game in which you built your own tracks. Also F15 Strike Eagle, this was around 1994 I think, on a PC and loading them with floppy disks. Later Need for Speed on the PC as well. Later a Sega with Shinobi and Sonic, and Sega Rally. Then a lot later, Playstation with Grand Turismo. I then drove the Nurburgring for real and lost interest in games. What I really liked was before all that, an old Atari with a game where you’d protect a ship from falling bombs or lightning. My dad would set it up on rainy weekend afternoons and two of my neighbours would come by as it was quite an event! A controler broke and it was actually fixed by an electrician shop that fixes TVs, no chance of that today.
  18. Why not give it a good wash and then put one of those protector sleeves around it?
  19. In case you haven’t noticed @boboneleg, @Sir Fallsalotis asking for that tire you’re throwing out
