I'd like to think that too, but in London I got confused when crossing the street and figuring out from which side cars were coming from I wouldn't be riding as much as here, that's a fact, sit inside looking at the rain pelting the window
  2. I'm guessing you´re having trouble with your french
  3. I was thinking that’s the one thing about that bike he might actually use
  4. Complete with white sidewall tires and tour pack, too!
  5. You’re watching too much british tv, line of succession… better set him straight or he’ll be throwing banana peels in front of Bob’s garage
  6. I have tried to ignore it but can’t, I might as well get it out before I spend a sleepless night… “Viva” isn’t french!
  7. He was asking Saul if he was your dad edit: if Saul is your dad, to make it clear…
  8. That’s true, but to me on this style of bike it’s better than the bike is friend when covering a distance on rough roads than a performance oriented thing.
  9. And what did you do? A promise made is a debt unpaid!
  10. There’s no way. I tried
  11. If they have the snow symbol on them that should be enough to be legal.
  12. At less than 5 or 6°C you will be a lot safer in winter tires, even on dry roads.
  13. I just google japanese horses, and they aren't very big over there. The Africa Twin is said to feel punchier than 100hp would suggest, though.
  14. It won't, it's more than the picture makes it look like. If it touches, it'll be when a beefier tire gets fitted.
  15. I'm going on a ride next week, and considering the weather forecast might be iffy, I just fitted a rear mudguard extension. Spent a little time trimming the excess plastic off so it wouldn't be much of an eye sore, and a little 3M pressure tape to protect the bars from chaffing, now I'm thinking I could have put two layers of it This is with the wheel almost fully extended and it's the less clearance position. It does reduce clearance to the tire a lot, but considering these are TKC70 with 11000km I might still get away with fitting the mitas when the time comes. The main point of this is to protect the lower part of the shock, exposed to rocks and dirt, and also prevent some splash to the back of my boots and inner calves. If it doesn't get ripped off when going offroad I'm happy.
  16. I don't know what kind of style that is, but it's certainly something
  17. On an inline twin it's hard to make exhausts go around the bike with fairings or not get on your legs too much.
  18. You know it's a "Super" Meteor because this one's got 46hp
  19. Apart from this forum, I think I've only met 2 people on account of bikes.
  20. That's often why people like a specific model of an old car, and fair enough
  21. That's a man's car! If we were able to name our colours, I'd go for the cliche light blue top and white bottom. I'd rather have a car that's a friend when going fast over bumps though, those old british sports cars will turn on you whenever they even see a bump in the road.
  22. That's an ugly car, and probably a shitbox to drive too. Why would you prefer that except to name something most people never heard about? (for good reason)
