It does reduce clearance to the tire a lot, but considering these are TKC70 with 11000km I might still get away with fitting the mitas when the time comes. The main point of this is to protect the lower part of the shock, exposed to rocks and dirt, and also prevent some splash to the back of my boots and inner calves. That's a man's car! If we were able to name our colours, I'd go for the cliche light blue top and white bottom. I'd rather have a car that's a friend when going fast over bumps though, those old british sports cars will turn on you whenever they even see a bump in the road.
