  1. I don’t quite know what to say Pete, I’ve come over all emotional.
  2. Portugal is a long way to go for a haircut mate. Just saying.
  3. Well that’s cheered me up
  4. I’m not taking the piss anymore because I feel like shite today. Sore throat, glands are swelling…………..woooohooooooo, this is going to be fun.
  5. Best laid plans and all that………needed our two bathrooms updating and the plumber we use had an unexpected cancellation so he brought our work forward. That scuppered any trips out, then I was rough for a few days (dodgy takeaway) and now I’ve got loads of problems with my dad in the UK that I’m trying to sort out. Going to have to make a visit in the next week or so because you just can’t speak to anyone in social services or his fucking doctor. Now I’m just tired with it all and have no enthusiasm to go out……..oh, and it’s raining.
  6. I’m still having regular therapy.
  7. That sounds familiar Bob, there was a nice old Honda 125 trail bike that came into my mate’s place a while back with the same plastic gear (badly worn).
  8. Actually I’ve voted for Marcel. His complete lack of effort and total disregard for anything remotely artistic has struck a cord with me. Either that or I just feel like being a cockney cnut.
  9. Cnuts. I’m voting for myself. Nothing better than pleasuring yourself…….sorry, did I just say that out aloud?
  10. Fer fucks sake, I’m only going to have a look at one…….that’s if they’ve got one to look at!
  11. From today’s bimble over towards Velez Rubio……..didn’t bother @XTreme because he’s still got the lurgy. Anyway, this is my submission
  12. My first one was just the same as that. If ever there was a bike I should’ve kept!
  13. Funny that because I get cramp in my groin………only when I’m riding (my bike)
  14. Done some internet searching and according to several academic publications and learned journals there’s a good reason for it. Here’s why racers do it; “Dangling your leg into this high-speed airstream results in a significant force on the rider's leg as it acts like a small parachute, creating a turning moment by pulling the riders leg around his core. This in turn encourages a pull on the outside handlebar, further helping to turn the bike through counter-steering” …….and here’s why non-racers do it; “They are cunts” ……so it must be true
  15. Same here Pete but mainly in the very hot weather when some of the tarmac is super slippery. Usually deployed on roundabouts.
  16. Let me ‘borrow’ it and I’ll keep it running for you. No charge.
  17. I think you could be right………so now I’m going senile as well
  18. I’m not proud of my bike buying Tourette’s ……….mind you I thought I had a problem but seeing @XTreme’s list I feel less guilty.
  19. They given even less of a fuck than I do.
  20. I found a list I’d made a while ago of the bikes I’ve owned since I was 16 years old. It’s chronological but in some cases I’ve owned more than one at the same time. Here’s mine, all 54 of them. What’s yours look like? 21. This just about sums up my feelings; The Amazon River runs for thousands of miles. At some points it runs through areas of rain forest that are almost untouched and have been barely explored. Because of the porous limestone in these areas, the river water leaks in through the stone and travels deep into the earth, and forms underground pools almost a mile below the surface. Over thousands of years, small blind transparent fish have lived and evolved in these pools. These fish have never seen the sun or surface and have never been seen by the human eye. These fish care more about this than I do.
  22. Ha ha ha 2,500 klms……..such a long way. Some of the stages in the Dakar start with a 200 klm liaison stage from the previous bivouac followed by 400-500 klms off road to the finish and then another couple of hundred klms to the next bivouac………
  23. That’s true that is, I mean the desert is a big place but still not many passing places to around the Harley when it’s broken down.
  24. ………didn’t see any Harleys racing.
