  1. Well I'm back in now and I've bookmarked the new thingy, that's as far as I can go in technical terms
  2. If I'm on a steep downhill section of trail (especially if it's a loose surface) I turn it off. You want the back wheel to slide to a certain extent and ABS will stop you controlling that.
  3. I wonder what 'look that guy has ginger pubes' is in Spanish
  4. Operator error, that'll take you a week to clean that now
  5. Couldn't find my way in, couldn't remember what it was called now. I had to email Pete and he started asking me for my IP address, as if I know that !! Yes ! I am a numpty

I've ridden quite a few on them and overall no problems at all but in Brittany we did get shouted at on a few of them. I think it's the usual thing that if you're near a town/city the walkers get pissy whereas out in the country no one worries about it at all.
  7. Australia has the right idea, they've banned anyone entering from India including their own citizens. Five year jail sentence if you get caught.

Excellent Chris. I love some of the GR routes in France although I have been shouted at a couple of times when riding them.
  9. Yep, XRV.org turned to shit when Dave sold it to Vertical Tossers, so did the KTM UK forum when they did the same thing.
  10. You're getting very brave in your pensionable age, I mean that's actual off-roading right there. Mind you if there'd been even a hint of dampness it could have all gone tits up
  11. Nice one Chris. If I ever get down your way again I'll have to ask you for the co-ordinates for that memorial site with the tree. I'm loving this one, now that's a proper, proper green lane
  12. How are you finding it with accomodation and restaurants etc, is there much restriction because of covid ?
  13. Yamaha ? Suzuki don't have a 225 engine.
  14. We had the 200 for a couple of years only here Tym, it's what I wanted really but they're rare as hens teeth here and get snapped up as soon as they're on sale.
  15. Well, I haven't got it yet but it is bought and paid for. Should be delivered next week. I'm looking forward to see how I get on with this, will the 125cc power (or lack of it) bore me to death or will I get used to it, we will see.
  16. I see your point Caroline and I wish you all the very best. Personally I can't think of anything worse but that's just my opinion. I have been to all the ABR rally's , from the original place near Stratford to the field near Banbury (which I quite liked. I didn't really enjoy the last one at Ragley Hall, it's got too big and too commercial for my liking. Anyway, each to their own. I have a overnight camping gig near Hereford in May which I'll be going to with five others, I think that's about my limit at the moment.
  17. You need to get yourself a 'Seasick Steve' cap when you're doing the lawn Tym
  18. I'm loving that official John Deere bin on the back
