That has got to be one of the worst air filter elements I've ever seen and remember that I mainly ride with off road bikes.

I'm voting for @Six30 for chastising people who flounce only to do it himself

Yep, I vote for @Saul as well , my second vote would be @Buckster for keeping this place going.

Ok, it was yesterday but I was waiting for photos. So we did the 'Santas on a bike' ride yesterday, all proceeds go to a children's hospice in Bristol. It was an amazing turnout considering the weather and good fun was had by all, the route was 18 miles in length and took us through Bristol with lots of peeps coming out to see it.

Another thing I did was download Macdroid which converts the files but that didn't seem to want to play either
-
Garmin warns against using converters but that's cheap enough to give it a go

Yeah, I did all the google thing @Saul but nothing conclusive. I have a mate who has the same set up who has offered to help. If all else helps I will use my son's Dell with windows 11 as we're getting him a new laptop for Xmas . One way or another I'll get there

I'm begining to get the hang on the MacBook now but need some more help please. I plan my rides on Garmin Basecamp and then transfer them to my Garmin Montana 700i. . So I downloaded Basecamp into the Mac but cannot get it to recognise the Montana . The data cable for the Montana is USB 2.0 so I bought an adapter , USB to USB c but that didn't work. Now I have a USB micro to USB c cable and it powers the Montana but won't transfer data. I see that the USB c ports on the Mac are described as 'thunderbolt' ports , what does this mean and do I need some sort of special cable ?
