  3. Absolutely Pete. Same thing happened with Caerphilly, move the crazy people to Abertridwr and if they're to crazy for that move them further up the valley to Senghenydd. I used to have a guard when I delivered ciggies in Senghenydd
  4. I like a bit of John Miles, superb arranger and can play almost anything
  5. The video in that article makes it look quite nice up to what I remember but to be fair I haven't been up there for over 20 years. @Sir Fallsalot probably has more idea what it's like nowadays.
  6. You're not wrong Fred, that's why it was always the same dudes that were run leaders
  7. I used to work in a shop in Penrhys . I can just hear the planners when they were thinking about building that estate, ' lets build an estate on the top of a hill with shite houses and put all the problem families up there '
  8. I plot routes on my PC and then transfer them to the GPS, I find that helps when you're riding as well as you can remember (some ) of what's coming rather than just going in blind.
  9. Well I'd never pick a fight with any of those ladies in Dowlais top

  18. Me, never. They seemed to be very unreliable in the early days plus 6v electrics weren't that clever.
  19. Bugger, I forgot about heated grips. They're the first thing I fit when I get a new bike
  20. Sat Nav/GPS was something I wasn't particulary interested in years ago but now I wouldn't be without one. By using the GPS I have found so many cool roads/trails that would be much harder to find just using a map. I still carry a map with me for a larger overview but the GPS pinpoints exactly where you are and the quickest or the best route to where you're going.
