@Mawsley Isn't your uncle also the king of Malawi ?

Nice one @yen_powell I can remember the TRF used to ride that back in the day, much easier to follow nowadays with GPS. I know all about the ordnance out there as I used to deliver a lot of it to Shoeburyness. Feck doing it on that XT600 though, that's a heavy bike for that sort of thing. I've ridden a seashore byway like that at Askham in Cumbria . https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4386880

Best thing they can do is ship 'em off to Afghanistan

But not in enclaves where they stick to other Brits like you describe in Spain. I think Spain gets all the scrotes and tax dodgers (like you say), you can keep those feckers, we don't want them back here

I'd be interested In Chris's opinion on that because I think you're wrong there. The sort of 'Brits' you encounter in Spain are nothing like the 'Brits' that move to France from what I see when I go there.

Gurnos estate is next to Dowlais top, it's a competition to see who can scare the most outsiders. When I used to deliver to the working mans club on the Gurnos I had to go inside first and see the manager , he would then get some of the clientel to come out and guard the lorry while I delivered the ciggies

Absolutely Pete. Same thing happened with Caerphilly, move the crazy people to Abertridwr and if they're to crazy for that move them further up the valley to Senghenydd. I used to have a guard when I delivered ciggies in Senghenydd

I like a bit of John Miles, superb arranger and can play almost anything

The video in that article makes it look quite nice up to what I remember but to be fair I haven't been up there for over 20 years. @Sir Fallsalot probably has more idea what it's like nowadays.

You're not wrong Fred, that's why it was always the same dudes that were run leaders -
I used to work in a shop in Penrhys . I can just hear the planners when they were thinking about building that estate, ' lets build an estate on the top of a hill with shite houses and put all the problem families up there '

I plot routes on my PC and then transfer them to the GPS, I find that helps when you're riding as well as you can remember (some ) of what's coming rather than just going in blind. -
