Nice one Pete, some great photos there. Does that reservoir supply your village with water ? Did you ask the senor on the Versys if he knows Ray ?

2023 Ducati DesertX Review – First Ride
boboneleg replied to Peon Maface's topic in MOTORCYCLE REVIEWS
The bike almost sounds too good to be true. I predict that Ducati will sell shed loads of them , depending on the price . -
GPS device that works like a phone with google maps
boboneleg replied to Pedro's topic in MOTORCYCLE WORKSHOP
I'd love to help you @Pedro but you may have seen my thoughts of using phones on bikes for navigation Try to talk to one of the scooter dudes who do deliveries (like Deliveroo) as they all seem to use phones so they must have something that works -
What Fred said , I love the challange of a ford. The one in the video was easy (as you hear my mate Tony say ) The ford on the Fosseway (the one that's just been repaired in the photos above) used to have a sign on it showing that the correct route for vehicles was via the ford. The bridge on the side is for pedestrians and cyclists.

It could well be that, Suzuki looms definitely deteriorate over time. That was usually the reason for selling my DR350's, mostly it was rot at the connectors. Check all the electrical connectors, give the wires a slight tug on all of them.

as opposed to you who has two legs but chooses to ride a big gay tractor

Exactly so Pedro, it was a nice steady ride through lovely countryside

The scoreboard had 4 floors, we used to wait until the scoreboard master ?? walked down to change the wickets on the second floor and we'd sneak up and change the score

Is the DR600 not playing ball either Ray ?

Here's one I made earlier. In a different ford, on a different bike, on a different day, in a different county

I was a late starter to spannering. I got a job with a second-hand car sales place when I was 21, my job didn't involve any of that at first but then I learnt how to pull bumpers, trim etc off cars ready for resprays. Soon I moved onto spraying itself but the one thing I really should have learnt was welding. Before long I was helping the mechanics as well and one day fitted a water pump on the works Escort Van. My boss was impressed but I used to do all that for £20 a week
