  1. Do you know what download speed you're getting?
  2. That's pretty good. Here (in Spain) I'm paying £17 for 220 up and 180 down (minimum) but back in Blighty I'm paying for a business contract plus two separate mobile routers and that will never improve as we are one house too far away from the rest of the fibre that's coming so either cough up to have your own dedicated line or drop the lying bastards for satellite
  3. Committing to buying a bike before it's release is risky. I did a fair amount of reading up on Mahindra, the design process, who they were using to do what, what parts they were using and anything else I could before I decided to risk it biscuit and I'll be honest I thought even if it fall's flat on it's face it would be collectable/appealing and there's always a market for that so I'd be able to get shot of it if it's a lemon Even with all the reading I did not know Mahindra owns the controlling stake of 80% in Peugeot motorcycles! I expected as an interceptor owner this guy would be looking for faults and doing a constant comparison, he does do just that but the BSA does well.
  4. You could have mustard but because it's not cooked the flavour is very mild and it would overpower the rest of it. The needed flavourings are usually mixed into the diced meat before it's served. Traditionally this is a very small amount of shallot, spring onion or capers and salt. I prefer a tiny dash of aminos or soy sauce. The problem with it is it is wholly depended on the quality of the meat and the person adding the seasonings, too much and it's easily overpowered, too little and it's bland. As everyone likes different strengths of flavours it's hard for chef to get it right for everyone. I prefer to be able to taste the flavour of the meat so I go lightly with a small amount of spring onion. If you can hit the right note it's amazing if you miss it it's a disappointment. You could also do with some rarely offered good quality bread as it is a surprisingly rich dish. ps you're up late, I hope you're not too tired today!
  5. hehehe. Well there was no garage parking left for the house I'm in so I have rented a space in another buildings underground parking down the road. And thats the key part it's down the road so if the weather is good I leave it parked outside my house and when I'm not here it's in airport parking. This is the first time there's been inclement weather when I've been here since September 2021!
  6. When did the bhp drop from 24.5 to 21.8 or has he got that wrong. What a bargain price. I’d love to go back. But never in monsoon season again!
  7. Bet his daughter in law's a Polack https://www.theolivepress.es/spain-news/2022/12/08/man-who-disappeared-with-22-month-old-grandson-in-spains-huelva-province-dies-after-being-found-unconscious-in-his-vehicle/#utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss
  8. BT charge us for a business contract that also supplies the house, for that we get 13mbps. After being 'escalated' and given a case manager, they shoved a fibre optic line in the ditch which still connects to copper at the other end Two more years down the line they have given up pretending it will ever stay at the boosted 24mbps and told us a few weeks ago we can pay £25k for a dedicated line to be put in So just signed a contract with Starling the satellite jobby. The engineer went along to have a look yesterday and said we were in a good position and he doesn't like to say what people will get because it can be variable but definitely over 100mbps. I so hope that's true. That with the two mobile internet contracts we have might be able to keep up but even if they can't it's got to be better than the shite BT has been providing for the last 20 years.
  9. Same here thats why I was surprised the supermarket was going to be open. The relentless march of the huge supermarket chains making their employees work on public holidays that everyone else is taking off. Think I'd rather it was shut!
  10. I read that on the topics page as “Two more days and we find out who was in Bikerbabe's freezer!”
  11. I read it that they are the exceptions and they’ll be shut as expected on Christmas Day and the other holidays?
  12. I truly get it. Been stoney broke and wonder how the feck I’m going to manage to pay the bills many times when I was younger. Thing is Pete the more websites you do the more clients you have depending on you. Carry on at this pace and youre gonna reach a point where just taking care of existing clients is going to be more than full time. Do you really need the headache?
  13. @XTreme can you confirm I’m looking at what I think I’m looking at? Is this saying it’s open from 9am - 10pm on the national holidays? I can’t quite believe it, everything here shutters up randomly let alone on holiday dates?!! Am I not seeing something?!!!
  14. Steak has that effect doesn't it All of my lot are pretty proficient at cooking steak but it doesn't matter who's doing it there's alway's hovering around going on
  15. Sounds very frustrating. Counselling can be expensive, there is a cheaper alternative, duct tape. Tape the annoying person to a chair outside and shut the door, works every time. Also works for snoring, duct tape across the mouth, viola miracle cure. A strip of duct tape in their hair, after some shouting everything is quiet for ages while they try to get it out. You can duct tape the door handles so they can't get in. Duct tape the car doors shut with them inside so they can't get out. Honestly the creative solutions duct tape can provide are endless. Duct tape the true cure-all.
  16. Good news, congrats. Looks like you've cracked it. Just put my Himalayan away in underground parking, did not like to look of the size of the hailstones or raindrops on the weather forecast, they used jumbo smash your bike up sized ones, my first thought was well I haven't suffered any condensation problems yet but leaving it out in that weather is asking for it!
  17. Morning. Glad I got any outdoor jobs finished yesterday because it’s another national holiday today. The Immaculate Conception, which makes me wonder if Mary was superhuman given that baby Jeez was born on Crimble Day and she must of been gestating for over a year Tomorrows weather might not be riding weather? Going to have to find the garage keys which I last saw in April
  18. It’s not the posting of the bollox that’s such a feat, it’s the bit where he appears to believe it
  19. Know a lot about maintaining good loving long term relationships do you? You mention Mr Slowly often and not in response to the times I've posted about him.. weirdo. You're a crap mod, partners are off limits on this forum. Speak to your master. Pete that is not the man in the sky
