Weather was shit all weekend so not much chance of riding plus I had. Covid so needed something to do in a solitary fashion.
So much time spent on the Sprint.
Before
Used this stuff on recommendation
After wire brush quenching or painting.
Been out playing around with the Sprint today painting stuff. Also experimented with the bolts for the exhaust by quenching them. Heating them to just turn cherry red and dropping them in used engine oil. They look okay. It will be interesting to see if they are resistant to rust.
Listen up folks, @Marcel is going to be taking a break from the site while they take care of some personal stuff, some of you may have noticed a change of pronouns on the profile, I can’t confirm or deny if this is something to do with it but there may well be a name change when they return.
Before I go silent , I'd like to give you a gift , something that Six30 won't be able to resist...a pic of me at eight years old...if this doesn't get him back ....nothing will....lol
Back in the day my mate Kevins mum had one. He used to smoke the tyres off it regularly until the gearbox gave up. And that bloody engine, sounded like a bag of spanners when they were right.
I've no doubt they'll have some fun with it when finished but I could think of a few things that engine would go in. Prob not that's already been done though.
Pretty sure when this came out the motoring world all said that it would be the perfect car if it had four wheel drive and 350hp, so it clearly makes sense.
