Took a ride through to Glasgow to pick up some rocker gaskets, I'm definitely missing the parts guy at Edinburgh Harley, the guy at West Coast Harley is a feckless cunt. I will just get my parts online from now on. Popped into Infinity Motorcycles while I was in Glasgow to have a look at mesh jackets, found a Rev'It that fits my gibbon arms but it was white, ordered a grey one from them instead which was on special for less than a ton. Took the long way back. Did about 135 miles in total.4 points

Yeah but they are selling those sort of bikes hand over fist. Bike nights are full of them. You don’t have to want one to see the way the wind is blowing.1 point

You maths is way off Rich, Marcy’s Indian is around 380 kilos and he must be 100kg at least. That’s around 205 BHP per tonne, not in the same field as a Busa.1 point

Talking to the chap in Colchester Diesels today. When I went in Monday he asked what bike I was riding and I never asked him. Turns out he has GSXR1000, turned and banging out around 210bhp. That should get down the strip fairly well.1 point

The driver was short, fat and had no hair (who am I to talk ) and he had a bad attitude too, that may be the norm for bus drivers.. But can you blame them1 point

Not me, I was put in charge of making this place family friendly, not turning it into “don’t ask don’t tell” night on the dorm room.1 point

While up at Thor this morning had a bit of a mooch around the showroom. Lots of Indians, Morini’s and Benelli’s. Plus Norton, BSA, CCM, Kove, Voge, Beta, Reiju Mash, and who knows what else. Certainly no lack of choice. @Buckster good price for a Black Mash @Marcel le Moose Fondler suits you I like this Has a close look at this Reiju 500, very nicely finished bike. No price on it so probably expensive but looks really good.1 point
