  3. True statement.... My wife & her dog shed waaay more than my dog....no joke. Mrs. Hook has hair as long as mine used to be...& it never seems to stop growing...just like mine. Now her dog is another best friend of mine....she's a rescue...Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound mix who's almost 13 y/o & can run like a gazelle....circles around my dog who's only 7 y/o. She's such a character...goes absolutely ape-shit over spaghetti or tacos... I tell our friends that she's the fastest Chihuahua in the county....

  4. I have thought about having another dog, another West Highland would fit the bill, then I lean over our garden fence to stroke next doors dog. Then I think bugger that, anyway if I got a young dog It would probably out live me.

  5. FACT!! My "Shorkie" (ShiTzu/Yorkie) is my best friend....been through a helluva lot w/ me, former wife's illness & death...then moving 280 miles to Elgin. She's such a good girl....but she now thinks she owns the house & I just pay the bills. Our resident Security Guard always on duty.....

  6. It's a bit of a garbled article, as far as I have heard there was one Body of the Chap Colman found at Sticker but more multiple remains found at Paramore woods which is a different but close location. Sticker is a lovely sleepy little place, we used to practice (singing) in the village hall years ago.

  13. This is the thread for submission of pictures for Bike Of The Month July. We'll use one picture per member, of a bike you currently own, taken on a ride this month. It needs to be an horizontal picture, too. Feel free to submit more than one, I'll consider the last one you post. On the 29th, around evening time I'll close this and start the vote.

  15. Marcel, were you perhaps browsing the forum while banned? Just tell me, if indeed he is submitting an old picture he’s got to be banned.

  17. @Saul, when I was in Italy I brought over a little bottle of special balsamic vinegar, aged and ultra flavoured. wonder how that would work, ultra sweet chain adjusters?

  21. I just put them all up that I was thinking about to see which looked the best on the bigger screen. I was looking at the light and sky but you are right about the lid as well.

  22. Last pictures of it finished. Only a little tinkering around but it keeps me entertained and helps preserve the bike. Also helps use up all the fecking silver wheel paint I bought Before After

  27. Couldn't help but think of Pete. Just watched a program on the beeb, telling the tale of a bunch calling themselves 6 of 1. I know he wasn't into clubs etc but they're a fan club for The Prisoner TV show.

  28. I can imagine it would, never needed to, a few hours left in white malt vinegar does the trick normally. Looks like the sun is accelerating the process today as well

  29. When I had the wheel bearings done the other day the chap who did it mentioned that the CBF600 had odd chain tensioners. Now it has been bugging me to the extent I got another set from a breaker. Only a tenner. Put them in white vinegar overnight to clean them up and get rid of any corrosion. Will thoroughly rinse them off degrease and paint them tomorrow. Get them on Friday hopefully. Only a small thing but it’s the sort of shit that makes me happy

  30. Very big of you to tell that story here Feel good that you did that on the 125 though, by far the best vehicle in your household at coping with it. I used to know a guy that briefly owned a diesel Royal Enfield, it was always an event to fill it up as the gas station attendants always assumed he was wrong and blocked the pumps until he went in and explained at length.
