Over the past month, Special Services investigators, with assistance from the Canadian Police Technological Crimes Unit, examined graphic images and videos extracted from cellular devices seized during a previous drug-related investigation. The material depicted various sexual acts involving a Moose, investigations have lead to this artists sketch to help identification of the suspect.6 points

Here we go again. Shadows off the road. . To be fair it probably wasn’t her fault this time she just picked up a 50mm wood screw. The annoying thing is that it went through into the tyres sidewall making it unrepairable Also the front tyre is all but on the wear bar so better to do the set. Looking at around £130 for a set plus fitting. Rang the local guy who will see what he can get, Hopefully get the wheels done on Tuesday. Fecking bikes are keeping me poor. Just checked the odometer and she has done 12,000 miles since last October.3 points

I do love the look of these. Never gonna sell them at £10K but look cool as hell in that Black livery.2 points

Started stalling again. Grasping at straws with the thing really. I stripped it all again and cleaned what I could. Throttle body, injector both as clean as I can get them. I turned the ped over with the injector out and the spray pattern looked okay. Seems to be running fine again but I think there is wear in the shaft that the throttle butterfly rides on as it sort of jams now and again. Not sure that would make it die but the throttle does hang very occasionally. I may see if I can get a replacement on EBay. Also the rollers are rattling in the variator which I am guessing means they are gubbed. Going to strip it all down for a look in the week because it must be due a belt and rollers by now. Also needs a back tyre as the MoT is coming up. Fuzz Nuts ain’t going to be happy.2 points

So Sunday afternoon I decided to ride north, I had a notion of possibly getting to Loch Ness although it wasn't definite. I headed up to Perth and rode the A9 up into the Cairngorms and the start of the highlands via Pitlochry. I hit the twisties on the A889 from Dalwhinnie where I enjoyed my improved handling, didn't see any Indians but if I had then I would have easily passed the aluminium framed pieces of crap. I then joined the A86. There are all sorts of little houses of different shapes and sizes tucked away up here. I made my way all the way to Fort Augustus and the start of Loch Ness, the roads are in a lot better condition than I was expecting, they are clearly maintaining them for the tourist traffic, quite a lot of bikes out and the temperature was running at about 25c. I decided to go to Castle Urquhart as I had never been there before, the entry fee was £17 but I am a Historic Scotland member so I got in free. I was able to have a walk through the ruined castle grounds and down to the shore of Loch Ness, no sign of Nessie unfortunately (or was there?). After this I headed up to Inverness but it was getting late so I jumped back onto the A9 to head back home, I had already done more than 200 miles at this point, I called into Aviemore to get fuel on the way back. Bizarrely after the high heat in the Highlands the weather started to cool as I headed back south and the Queensferry bridge was completely hidden in fog when I crossed it before heading home where the sun was shining again. In the end I did 380 miles, it was a good day out, getting home just before 9pm. There are definitely some roads up there that I need to explore sometime but I will need to stay up there for a few days.1 point

Check it for flaky residue, he may be using it for additional purposes.1 point

Probably worth checking the fuel line and if there is a filter then swap that as well.1 point

I won't answer that in detail because he is at the age where I would rather thump him than look at him. Probably not but he hasn't got much sense.1 point

I don't think there can be much in the tank, I will of course check and do have a low mileage second hand fuel pump to put in just to rule out the current one failing, parts are pretty cheap for these things second hand. Also I cleaned up stream from the injector but not the tank so it does need doing. Only thing that is expensive is the throttle body and CDI unit. I am going to do the drive belt and variator first though just in case that is causing drag, enough to stall the bike at very low revs. And seeing it should have been done at 6k and the Ped is on 12k tells me it would be smart to do. Lean't allsorts about these fecking things the last few weeks. I wish I had gone with my convictions and bought him a second hand Honda ped or cub type thing in the first place. His mother insisted he had something new but in the long term I reckon he would have been better off with an Innova 110 or something of that ilk. But what the fuck would I know.1 point

Lovely, but Shadow would slit his throat if he had that Plus he hasn't got two pennys to scratch his arse with. I bought the Ped for £2500 for him, gave him a grand towards it and it took him 3 years to pay me back the rest. Bank of dad is closed to him.1 point

It runs absolutely fine just dies at idle. Only way to increase the idle is to adjust the throttle cable to keep the butterfly open a fraction like an idle screw would. It's what I have done and it seems to be fine at the moment but I don't think it's an ideal fix. The sad thing is Fuzz Nuts has had this Ped from new and it's been a good servant, but not looked after. The only reason it has not blown the motor is I change the oil every time I service one of my bikes. Other than that it's not touched. He expects me to pay for it to be serviced, but he can feck off, the piss taking twat earns more than I do. I don't mind helping, if asked, but I am not good with teenage attitude, I could go on but won't1 point

Mate you have never met the daft twat. He makes noises about wanting a geared bike but can't save a fecking penny. Spunks all he earns on Tik Tok shop on utter crap.1 point

Yeah 1200cc, I just asked Google and 556 is what the AI bit came back with, not done any actual maths ...1 point

No idea what the thing with all the suitcases on it is but mine is 556 according to Google AI ( Indian FTR), obviously without my 100kg arse on it. Edit - just read the other thread … what a load of1 point

No such thing as OSB plywood. There’s chipboard which is usually used in furniture as it’s usually not load bearing, there’s plywood, and there’s OSB which means Oriented Strand Board.1 point

That's what I live in....ain't ashamed to say. Mfr'd home w/ a total footprint of 24x40.... w/ only 7ft. sidewalls....easier to heat & cool. Bought it outright 6 yrs. ago for &102k...can't touch ANYplace for that price now. TBH, the real selling point was the 24x24 heated & insulated pole-barn garage w/ a covered carport the same size adjacent to it....all sitting on 5/8 of an acre. The blasted property taxes are only 1/3rd of what I was paying on the left side of the state.1 point
