  1. I messaged Tango this afternnoon and got a message back, he's fine, just busy with life n stuff, no worries, ( other than that the frogs are busy voting the national front into power and that we're laying money on which one of us will be escorted off the premesis first... )

  3. You do know it's a single cylinder and all he's doing is making it tick over faster that doesn't upset anything.

  10. It's just KTM quality now sell it six this is one of the TRF guys camshaft on his 690 at 1200 miles. The 790's suffer the same fate as well apparently

  11. Is that the dirt track thing they were talking about? I don’t get those rules, Harley runs an open 1250 but KTM runs a 890 instead of a proper super duke? And BMW runs a boxer that came out 20 years ago instead of the modern 1300 or even last 1250? On the other hand, that Panamerica turned naked sportsbike looks sweet!

  13. I disagree , I've adjusted the tickover on mine with that screw and it worked fine. I know in USA you have drill out a lock screw in some bikes as they are factory set but it's not the same on UK bikes.

  19. Yes they do. My point is to let her feel comfortable getting a full foot down when things go wrong. Dropping the forks through would be much better after lowering the rear but the upper clamp doesn't allow that and I doubt she'll feel the difference removing some preload. Not yet anyway.

  20. I understand that, as a parent, you want the best for your daughter. After seeing this topic I researched a bit and the most common opinion is to not lower your bike. The solution for the lack of confidence is : Practice, practice, practice. As motojitsu says :

  22. If it is injected it will have a MAP sensor, remove that and clean it out, I wouldn’t be surprised if that is the issue, with it being a single if the MAP sensor is gunged up then it will likely run full lean on decelerating and shut the ignition down.

  23. Another possibility is that it's suckin' air somewhere.... @ 1 point I had reseal the intake boot between the carb & the cylinder head. A thin film of Permatex Ultra Black sealant cured the problem.

  24. Isn’t there some sort of air box mod to cure this, I read it somewhere I’m sure.
