  3. Funny enough I did think about doing just that but the thought of someone like you picking us up put me off. There’s all sorts of boring cunts out there you know

  4. Yup and had a gentle 7 mile walk along part of the Pembrokeshire coast. now sat in a pub drinking larger with the money I saved by not staying in a hotel

  15. On my way back to Spain…….well I will be at 0610 in the morning so for now I’m plotted up at the airport. I have a bag that needs to go into the hold so I can’t check-in until about 4am which means I can’t go through security to where the bars are…….no, I’m stuck with coffee shops instead. Schoolboy error. The upside is that there’s a stunningly beautiful woman a few metres away and she definitely has all the moves. Swished across the coffee shop with coffee in hand, I swear she just glided a few centimetres above the floor. I wonder if I could impress her with my best chat-up lines? I reckon she’d be impressed

  16. I’m on a camp site with proper facilities I just choose which one I go to and how long we stay. We were moving on today but our walk out and stop in the pub took longer than expected so staying at this place again tonight and moving on tomorrow that’s the beauty of this I do what I want when I want there’s no schedule to follow don’t need to book anything I just turn up, I”m laying in bed watching a film at the moment the wife is sleeping beside me. I can’t see what Pete”s big problem is with someone doing something other than working themselves to death, watching Netflix, travelling 2 hours to get a cup of tea or having a two hour ride into waste land twice a month. Now I could say what a waste of a life but I won’t because it’s not my life

  17. Honest question, you drive around and sleep in your vehicle, that sounds nice but you are a couple doing couple stuff, along with 7 mile walks and all that, do you use any facilities for showers or how do you manage to not getting too funky?

  27. Starting in ‘off’ mode completely defeats the object of an ebike but I do appreciate the general approach you’ve described Pedro. I started on ‘Low’ progressed to ‘Eco’ and settled on ‘Mid’ for 95% of the ride………but it was a shit load of fun going up very steep hills in ’Extreme’

  28. My friend used to drive the fast response emergency vehicles, flat out to a crash scene in full drama mode, and station wagons carrying what must have felt more than what they should. That’s a very cool job you have! Both on the job itself and in the way you hell your community.

  29. The trick is to ride away in off mode, then turn it into eco mode. By starting is turbo boost mode will ruin anything you do after. Anyone that had ever cycled will know that keeping a 20kmh average is proper hard word, turn on turbo mode in an electric bike and suddenly 25kmh uphill feels like the walk to check your mailbox in the morning.

  30. So now you don’t look like a parked loitering gipsy, you’re just choosing to sleep in a van smelling like take away fish?

  31. Im rather proud of myself this evening, finished a long term project restoring a “Louis Philippe” wardrobe ( 1840 ish) that belonged to wifes grandfather and had been left to fester in an outhouse. I’m not a cabinet maker or restorer but i reckoned i could make it useable again and possibly nice looking even. The photos are probably fkin hooge, sorry, no access to poota just mow. Ikea are shit compared to this, the whole thing gous from flat pack to fully operational in about an hour, all held together with just 6 wooden pins on top of this achievement, i managed to diagnose and repair the 12v socket on the tiger ( im crap at electrics and hate it but got away with this one

  32. @Pedro you owe me 120 knicker. after you embarrassed me with my bin bag blinds in the marmite wagon I had to buy some proper ones testing them out over the next few days. Currently down in Pembrokeshire eating my favourite dead animal with some fishy stuff and chips

  33. .........at a forum that I hadn't gone to for some time (not that other one) and I was met with this message as soon as I signed in. That price level is pretty much correct for just a small forum these days......it's very difficult to make ends meet! Obviously the owner must be throwing in wads of his own cash to stay afloat! Fair play to him, that's some commitment. I certainly wouldn't have opened this place for you clowns if I hadn't already got the resources available.

  34. every place i stayed on in van had lovely hot showers and a nice toilet for a shit. if your into going off grid for a few days then you would invest in a proper camper van

  45. Next up I needed a rack so I had somewhere to carry tools, tubes, tyre levers etc. There wasn't a great deal of choice so in the end I opted for some Chinesium from Ali Express.............. Fitting this required the removal and drilling of the rear mudguard. Very kindly Yamaha saw fit to mark where you had to drill on the underside of the guard .................... Then the spacers (supplied) were added to line up with the subframe.............. Two of the supplied bolts were not quite long enough to facilitate a locking nut underneath so I ordered some 10mm longer stainless bolts and then it was done ................
