Gone are the days when troops were given 6 weeks basic training given a rifle and sent out to conflict. I think if the unthinkable were to happen it would be all about air power. Something Russia has scant resources in. These messages are more about preparing the population for NATO conflict, softening us all up for acceptance of what is to come.
