Then I eventually reach the village after wobbling along some pretty iffy roads.... It's a very odd place because a lot of the houses look quite liveable and are totally secured. Then there's a few in this state.... By this time I was drenched in sweat so time to make a move! The bike ended up covered in sand and dust, but that situation has now been rectified! Just needs a polish tomorrow. The bike was flawless, and you can't put a price on the peace of mind you get when your bike is a Honda! As opposed to some other brands! If the 1200GS had fucked up in a location like this the consequences could be dire.....there's no phone signal and you're miles from anywhere! it's serious shit! Another benefit that I'm finding is fuel consumption......last weekend's trips and this weekend's trips have cost me less than €10. As a rough calculation that has to be over 80mpg! So there we are......one weekend and two ride reports! I'm fucking carrying you Casuals! I think I read something about that abandoned village a while back. Bad case of Bubonic Plague wiped them all out. You should be alright Pete if you have no dodgy symptoms by now.
