Just reminded me of a pic I came across recently.

The Grasshopper in leather.....looks like I had just a little bit of attitude, not like today. :classic_laugh:

I had the soles repaired on my normal Spring/Summer boots the Summer before last.

Cost about €20 and I'll probably get another 15+ years out of them.

Which is more than I can confidently say about me really! :classic_unsure:

Is that proper leather? Looks like nice soles, so can't a local shoe repair guy help out?

The tape is because a paramedic cut the boot off in 2007. I dint want him too, it was easy for them to convince me it was the way to go at the time...:classic_unsure:

Your way of fixing a straight cut through that leather was to put tape over it? Here in europe, we have these people that specialize on fixing and maintaining shoes.

Do you still think you know someone who could fix that boot?:classic_unsure:

I think so, not sure unless they would actually try, I would bet they would be usable. Surely not like new but way better than duct tape over it.
