Pedro Posted Friday at 15:12 Share Posted Friday at 15:12 What have you guys got planned for the weekend? Is it getting nice where you are? I'm near Porto in Portugal. Tomorrow, I hope I wake up not too late, get on the bike and ride to Faro to meet a friend for dinner. It'll be 1 hour something on the motorway then catch the smaller roads to get there, a little less than 600km. Then enjoy Faro on Sunday and come back North to meet Sofia near Lisbon on Monday. They're saying it's going to get warm, I hope it doesn't get too warm.

Buckster Posted Friday at 18:02 Share Posted Friday at 18:02 I'm assuming it will be raining here as usual, if not I will continue cleaning the bike up.

Catteeclan
Heading to the shed in a bit to cook the carb in the ultrasonic tank on the F7 again. Bike runs but won't tick over. Jets are clear but suspecting a blockage in the carb as it looks like it's been in water in it's past.. Hoping Mandi will finish her weekend work so we can nip out on the bikes for a bit as it's the better weather today. First BTTC race tomorrow afternoon. After a boiling, 2 hits of 20 min ultrasonics and a high pressure air line blasting the little kwacker is running and ticking over. Still plenty of odds n sods to get sorted but glad the major work is over.

Got that tree unloaded....headed to Kingsbury Ln. but not much in the way of wildflowery, probably due to the screwy weather we had last winter....they might still show in another month...we'll see. Everything was sooo Green from the recent rains.... I kept thinking how much fun this would have been on my old XT 550....
YamaHead
When we finally made it back down to Hwy 204, we decided to head west towards the old Spout Springs ski area which gets up to 5100 ft. elevation....shame it hasn't been running for at least 5-6 yrs. as its only 30 miles from home. Definitely a bit more chilly at the higher elevations.... On the way back down, we seemed to have our timing dialed in as there was virtually no traffic....so I was able to keep a steady 55+mph pace for a good 6+ miles....coasting in neutral....gotta love a manual gearbox.
