Insurance Renewal, Robbing Barstewards

I know it's never a surprise as they do it every year but it doesn't hurt to call the robbing barstewards out.

Bennetts fully comp renewal for my 73 plate Hornet CB750 £454.00

Hastings Direct for the same cover £165.00.   

I called Bennetts to cancel the renewal and they gave me a new quote of £365.  Just seems a strange way to go about their business.

It's the norm sadly. Think that "pigs at the trough" pic in the funny thread applies to insurance companies too.
