  1. That looks very interesting and more like an old school government building than individual houses.
  2. So how did the ktm350 dude do afterall? Looks like you properly missed being out getting muddy.

    Baja!!!

Were you camping later on? I ask because that looks like way too much luggage each bike is carrying. Amazing stuff, just great. Did the red bike crack the valve cover? There is a track I am going to try on the GSA in Morocco that must have some soft sand, I'm pretty intimidated by the thought of it to be honest.
  5. My place is at one of Portugal's hottest places. Today we got a sudden wind from North Africa blowing a warm dust storm from the Sahara, it went from a warm 23º yesterday to a 32º today. Washed the bike and took it for a short ride to dry it right after lunch while it was heating up:
  6. I completely forgot about this, or indeed that it was the end of the month Have been having a couple of weird days, sorry. Maybe it's best if you don't count on me for a couple of months to do this. Here is my submission for this month, a freshly washed motorcycle, very much not like what it is looking like today all bug splattered
  7. Hard packed, smooth, grippy dirt? That road, please!! Your reports make me want to go to France.
  8. Bike looks sad with that trunk on top As if this wasn't enough: Now:
  9. It would be cheap to run compared to fuel costs of driving there and back to shovel snow, just plumb the school's heating through the stairs and it'll work perfectly.
  10. I vote for heated steps, then.
  11. I am sure it is a silly idea, but I'll ask anyway. Why not just put a carpet over that snow and have the kids walk over it? Then roll it back up for the night and do the same the next day?
  12. Never look a gifted horse in the mouth?

    Baja!!!

I have no confidence at all in taking my bike on sand. Never had good tires for it, either, but that heavy front wheel scares me. What a great ride this is, keep posting. The bikes, the food, baja, just great. The sunsets, though, you´ll still have sunsets if you make it to the hotel before dark
  14. The expression "like watching paint dry" never had such a match for a thread as this.
  15. Seals are raping penguins. That's a fact. Apparently the seals claim they are forced to it because of global heating. Global heating is also a fact, but I can't see rape as an exit Poor penguins

    Old sayings.

To describe a loose woman: "she's as whorish as a chicken" because of how hens offer their behinds to roosters, I assume

In Portugal, that"either fuck, or get off (from top of her)"
  18. I’ve crossed France many times by car on motoways, but only a couple of times on small roads. Yours seem the best kind of rolling hills and sweeping corners on a rural background, they make me want to go there, which is nothing like I have felt before.
  19. The guy’s father?
  20. One nut is enough, from what I have been told. It’s the attitude that matters. Also better for riding a motorcycle in the summer.
  21. Good luck @Tym, surgery is always an anxious experience.
  22. To me, that's perfectly adequate, just because Spain wants tourism money doesn't mean England has to think it's ok for their citizens to go there.
  23. This made me smile, someone Portuguese government related said the other day that if you refuse to have your Astra Zeneca vaccine based on wanting to choose brand of vaccine, you'll be waiting for quite a while to be called back
  24. Internal tourism would keep a lot of tourism business afloat by themselves, without actually having people contact with people from all over the world, and making thousands of people go through crowded airports. That would mean all you brits and northerners wouldn't be able to fly over to enjoy the sunshine, somehow that bothers me none
