  1. What do you mean they were unloved? Did you just "love" them?
  2. Well, you say that, but you just went and got a Hayabusa, get a nice CB500 or Himalayan instead... No joke though, don't you need your license to earn a living?
  3. I don't know, if you're commuting, when it takes you more time to put in your gear, get warm, ride the bike, get out of your gear, than it does to drive, just drive and be warm and healthy to enjoy motorcycling when it's meant to be enjoyed. I once commuted on my Transalp, in winter it took longer than driving, but I never had to face serious traffic.
  4. Not really. I mean, when in the right mood there are roads that I might do over 3 times the speed limit, some might call that being a bad boy. On motorways sometimes I kind of let it rip just so those young dudes on the CBR600 don’t think they’re the shit, bit what annoys me is that the tickets that have been pinned on my permit are an 80kmh exiting a village in the countryside on a 70kmh area and a 110kmh on a 60kmh between two 120kmh motorways, the ladt one I was quite lucky as I usually do that bit on cruise control doing 130kmh. seems like you can’t be a responsible speeder nowadays without being caught out for crap. Almost makes me want to get a hayabusa and a roll of white sticky tape just for going out on sunday mornings for coffee! PS: oh, I forgot, while I was away my dad felt an urgent need to fill out a Euromillions and parked my car on a crosswalk, the twat!
  5. I also like the first gold colour, only because when it came out it was so impressive that I grew to like that. I’m a big fan, but am a step away from loosing my permit as it is. The Dainese shop where I go for coffee and to buy wine is a meeting point for the Hayabusa club, always a sight:
  6. A black Hayabusa is a pretty thing. With a clean looking stock exhaust and the cowl on instead of the rear seat even more. Looks clean and pretty.
  7. It identifies as a Yamaha now
  8. That’s how Pete bought his, too.

I hate kites, whenever I used to ride up to the beach in the afternoon and spot them a mile away you know it’s going to be windy as fuck.
  10. Yes there will, you’ll drag it for two weeks and then say there’s no match for your current bike. Because you are a troll!
  11. What kind of 1200GS interests you?
  12. There's really no pleasing you. Brits!
  13. You said it plenty of times before, so unless it's a Hayabusa you're getting something you don't want as much
  14. You would here too, that's why they put sticky tape while they're on the motorway going past cameras and toll booths and while it's easy to run from cops, and it's back to a normal plate in town and where cops can fine you. On your hipster plate, you can neither run away or avoid a ticket when you're stopped.
  15. If you're showing your license plate numbers anyway, why risk getting a ticket? If you want to avoid cameras and stuff like that, on weekends the tape over the plate thing or national flag tied from blinker to blinker is still common here for people riding fast on motorways. No use for those on a Royal Enfield, obviously, as the only place they can speed through is a school zone.
  16. Look at the smiling fish on the card, then the reality of the sad fish used for company by strangers night after night, his life turned into a haze of watching strange men in Belgium, made worse by the fisheye effect of his bowl

    + 5 BHP

Or: heated grips with mitts, then when out of winter you don't use the mitts and still have heated grips. It's not like all other three seasons in the UK are exactly warm.
  18. Only the Belgians to pimp out a fish! People don't realize how loud some fish can bubble, though. I used to hear Fish, my fish, bubble through the night

Heated grips work well, but if you're using proper winter gloves they'll also isolate your palms from the grips. I would go for heated gloves or heated mitts if commuting in proper cold.

Pete’s needy and clingy like that
  21. Kawasaki actually found a way to make that bike look shittier! Lower it and make it look like the spring collapsed
  22. Shit, that’s the one, I was wondering something looked wrong in my one i found in google
  23. There were a lot of kids with a swollen forehead after geography in my 6th grade, after getting hit with one of these Those older ones had the black foam bit very much squished so the change of it absorbing an impact was very low, too. That guy used to kick guys in the shins when he caught then copying on exams, when they cried he'd reply "you can go and complain and get a zero for copying, or shut up" He was a cool guy though.
  24. I would say go and see the hills and the desert, but maybe pack a lunch and do it solo
