  1. Back then I suppose they had some kind of reason to do it, trying to improve the way the ABS works or something like that. Brakes in cars are the same, they probably decided to use the same engineering. It wasn't easy to make good ABSs that didn't go bad with lack of activation. I suppose it had something to do with circulating the brake fluid inside the ABS to prevent it from seizing over time. It was proven unnecessarily heavy and then they removed it. A few of the 1150s and early 1200s have this, and I think they're not really wanted because of it.
  2. If it was that and they did replace it, it will be ok, same as the servo, but it obviously wasn't. Why no other BMW? Because you bought an old bike that sat around for ages and then a part that needs use to keep fresh needs replacing? You change your mind quicker than anyone, even a couple of days ago you both accepted that this bike would probably have to be replaced with something newer if that's what it took to get her out.
  3. On a less positive note, they probably didn't really replace the servo and more likely tried to fix it.
  4. On a more positive note, there's now a possibility of Allie wanting to again be on the back of your bike, @XTreme ... which is brilliant news.
  5. Not if it's a servo assisted, some older ones were and it's no longer like that for a reason Later versions of the same generation have a normal system, in which if the ABS fails all you have is a non ABS bike like you say.
  6. Not 270º, I can tell you that, that's for hipsters
  7. I think even Putin is about to issue a statement saying he's got nothing to do with Bernie. He makes Putin look bad.
  8. All he has to do is show up in the Ukraine or some towns around Europe with strong presence of Ukrainian refugees or immigrants, and he’ll have no trouble finding that bullet.
  9. Well, I wouldn’t vote for my own so I don’t really count it in to make my decision. But since you asked, it was An uninspired picture, out of the two I took on an uninspiring month. Only submited to make numbers, to be honest.
  10. Pete's GS spent more time on a trailer than at home, and because topcase. Buckster actually went on a proper ride, but posted a picture of the bike parked on some motorway services or whatever, could only be less inspiring had it been posted by Rich or Six Sir Fallsalot didn't even bother with a ride report of that, as far as one knows it can be just parked there and bushes growing around it. Marcel's bike rode, there's a weird cryptic ride report about it, but it didn't make home so that can't be bike of the month Tim posted a selfie I voted for Bob because even though he managed to post a pretty shit picture, his bike is being properly ridden
  11. Next thing you’ll find 100 euros stashed inside the frame
  12. Indeed, let's all sell our bikes and buy a Kia Ceed.
  13. Brits don't know anything about mixing eggs with other foods!
  14. Luckily, or sadly, the pointy bits of the ugly stick were worn down by the Ducati and it became the bland stick. Like if Hyundai designed this bike. Hyundai? Huyndai? Hiunday? don't know.
  15. That would mean we were beyond the end of the world and in the matrix, being fed our our juices and living an illusion
  16. That’s a threeway nobody wants to watch!
  17. @Buckstertaking pictures and posting ride reports, @XTremebuying tools … Pretty sure this is a sign of the end of the world!
  18. That might be impressive but doesn’t mean anything to me.
  19. And then the pace went up to sneaker?
  20. Hope she has fun, @XTreme
  21. But I meant the journalists, not the guys engineering the bike. Suddenly everyone comments on crankshaft angles!
  22. Helps with being a hipster too
  23. I love it, suddenly it's all about 270º cranks, everyone's an expert on firing orders now!
