A good chain and healthy clutch will make it feel right, you need experience to learn how to launch it properly by feel instead of trying to cheat by improving the bike. A swingarm will make the same issue reveal itself going faster, making it more of a problem for someone inexperienced. Maybe a slower bike would be better for learning? I would just carry on with yours with good tires and parts. That’s my knowledge after having done no racing! It’s worth what you’re paying for it

Rich, as a tip for the videos, try uploading them to youtube as shorts, that way you can zoom in during the video. If the image is good you will not look so distant and will look a lot faster. I would prefer to go through some chains and clutches before adding a longer swing arm, better to learn properly before improving the bike.

What did you manage last time? How fast can an experienced drag racer take a stock Hayabusa? Must be quite addictive, once you do it a few times.
  6. I di hear about that, but for mountainbikes, which are also quite abused. In my mind it doesn’t make sense unless it’s a bush job, but worse than that is I also don’t understand how it improves things except it disturbs the balls or pins out or their set grooves and temporarily gives them a new edge to roll on while they don’t eat those edges off?
  7. Better you go back and check people’s submissions, these UK twats aren’t to be trusted.
  8. Marcel, were you perhaps browsing the forum while banned? Just tell me, if indeed he is submitting an old picture he’s got to be banned.
  9. @Saul, when I was in Italy I brought over a little bottle of special balsamic vinegar, aged and ultra flavoured. wonder how that would work, ultra sweet chain adjusters?
  10. Post as many pictures of your bikes as you want, no worries. I’ll consider the last one, no need to delete them. you can also ask people which is better before deciding
  11. This is the thread for submission of pictures for Bike Of The Month July. We'll use one picture per member, of a bike you currently own, taken on a ride this month. It needs to be an horizontal picture, too. Feel free to submit more than one, I'll consider the last one you post. On the 29th, around evening time I'll close this and start the vote.

  17. No such thing as OSB plywood. There’s chipboard which is usually used in furniture as it’s usually not load bearing, there’s plywood, and there’s OSB which means Oriented Strand Board.

  21. 25°, that’s quite something! What are the mosquitoes like with heat like that? The scenery is just great, even with Nessie not making an appearance.
