  1. Went to buy flour, really very windy and cold up there.
  2. A guy just came by to bring me a load of wood
  3. Cool bike, shame about the lack of VTwin though.
  4. Either the Goldwing 4 cylinder or the CB750 for me.
  5. It´s 172cm. I think taller than you and you would find it too small/short.
  6. How tall and heavy are you Saul? I sat on my mate’s bike and found it tiny and low. Compared to my bike that is no surprise though.
  7. He’s very pleased with it.
  8. Send her a kiss from me, Pete. All the best for you both!
  9. I hear cars get at least a puncture a week in the UK. Dodged a bullet!
  10. I also assumed it was higher mileage. When you bought it did you think you would be keeping it for a long time? Love this picture, looks like the same pattern on the clouds and the grass
  11. That deer doesn’t seem very normal to me, might have shorter neck than the Portuguese ones but it’s dancing with a little child!

@Slowlycatchymonkey I have tried Berber coffee for the first time this year in Morocco, and have been trying to replicate it a few times now. It'll put a whole new twist on black coffee and you'll like it if you like fragrant spices. It's not meant to be expresso thick so I make it in a french press: use the usual amount of coffee that you would for a strong cup, but then add spices to the ground coffee before adding and mixing the water as normal. All of them are optional but I have tried it this way and like it: pinch of rock sea salt, coursely ground black pepper, ground cinnamon (more than the others), , ground nutmeg, ground ginger, ground cardamom (less than the others), and from there on invent within reason. Small amounts of each. A couple of mint leaves go well as well. Mix it and try it that way, no sugar needed for me and the cinnamon takes care of that, but pretty sure most rural Moroccans will add plenty of sugar to it. It'll be a different coffee experience.
  13. I once was the first person into the Guggenheim museum in Bilbao, there’s this big exhibit in a giant room where you walk amongst some huge metal sheets signifying life and perspective and all sorts of feelings, and it was great to feel lost for an hour in there. When at the end of my visit I decided to pop back in to that room a group of spanish women had just walked in there and were clearly enjoying it very much, noisy as only older spanish ladies can be, it just wasn’t the same!
  14. Good stuff, it’s great that you’re left by yourself to enjoy the place. People often ruin the experience.
  15. Do you own a french press? If you do I’ll send you a recipe to challenge your dislike of coffee.
  16. That’s the rolling stones leg syndrome
  17. Love your man’s jacket, proper cool! Although I think his glasses might be upside down! Classy bike too, the BMW! I am not a fan of frosting on cakes but it is great to see a couple on a Sunday morning ride out. Who knows, maybe there’s a change of you two eventually making a ride report or two. PS: still think that 9T would be my preferred travel bike choice out of your stable.
  18. I’m wondering if @Slowlycatchymonkeyis even real or just a bot
