  1. I have but can’t remember what happened. Harleys are cool though, too big for my type of roads but cool.
  2. Tough crowd Marcel! I think those aren’t seared, but a nice steak is a nice steak, along with a nice bottle of wine and all’s good!
  3. That’s one match I am sorry to ha missed in Morocco, Portugal vs Morocco tomorrow! They’re insane about football do it would be good.
  4. I am tempted to try out a proper Harley like Buckster’s or Marcel’s, see if I can turn it around or ride around just fine, they seem so comfy for long distances.
  5. You would die of stress if you were Portuguese and had to wait anything from 1 week to 5 months I get the sweats when there’s a registered letter from some form of official thing, usually it ends up being property tax or IRC or something like that but I always think “fuck, there goes my driver’s license”
  6. I am very diplomatic, so maybe I should indeed.
  7. Just about to crack open some wine, wondering wether white or comfy red. Food is defreezing near the fire, and will have browns for desert. Tomorrow might be not raining, so I'll do an XTreme and wash my bike. I fear it'll take forever, and be fruitless because rain is forecasted for the next few days too, no bike gets as dirty as a GS Then if it continues to not rain I'll take a short ride to have a coffee and stop by Dainese's Outlet to see if they anything worth my attention, I need a winter jacket.
  8. Just so you know, blackie or darkie aren´t endearing terms to call black people.
  9. Rode about 900/1000 km today, with a long stop in the middle for crossing between continents! The Moroccan part was done in a rain storm on small country roads with no navigation aids. Am now drinking wine!
  10. What did your bike ever did to you to deserve being parked outside when you have a nice covered place for it?
  11. I never had steak tartare, but have a craving to have some. Once in Belgium I was undecided on what to pick for dinner, it was January and really cold so went with hot food. The guy next table had the tartare and I gawked at how it was sliced and prepared right there, what did get to me was the mustard, seems like an obvious choice too, no mustard on yours?
  12. You want someone from here to ring her and tell her to seek an expert? I’ll do it, apparently I sound like Borat to some brits.
  13. Who do you think you are to be given an explanation, their boss?
  14. Betas might seem budget because they’re cheaper than Huskys and KTMs and TMs and Hondas but they sell like hotcakes here and have been used to win several national championships all around Europe, using basically stock bikes with some prep. They’re serious bikes!
  15. Made it home instead of stopping overnight somewhere. It rained most of the day. Pretty hard day, too. Bike is less dirty than yesterday, and yesterday less dirty than the day before, seems like it’s cleaning itself!
  16. Looks ok from up close, Bob Tarifa now, feeling very nostalgic and thinking about the previous time I left Morocco against my will. Forecasts are storms all over, so will have a piss and put all the plastic stuff on, and go sleep in Portugal tonight. Rock on storms!
  17. The diff is isolated from there. However, it would need a proper clean, mainly the shaft knuckles. The Mediterranean is upset today, people are throwing up already, but two guys are praying really hard so as long as Allah still covers international waters we’re ok.
  18. It’s the rubber boot that seals the shaft inside. It’s looking weird in fact, I’ll check it when off the boat. It looks like a cloth because of the desert dust stuck to it.
  19. Looks like @Saul used it twice for his commute Now on the ferry, for what looks like quite a choppy ride to Spain. The guy tightening the bike down laughed and said I will definitely feel it I pray to any saint for no rain on the other side.
  20. It was heavy rain through the hills in muddy roads, good stuff really, but would have prefered to stay dry. Now waiting in Tangier for a sandwich that’s taking forever and the ferry at 3. Was thinking of staying overnight somewhere near after but don’t really feel like more of the same rain in the morning. So will probably crack on. Bike is running great even though it lookslikeit was found in thebottom of a river bank.
  21. Tanger now, plastic overalls aren’t really waterproof anymore. Tired of riding with shit gear in winter.
  22. I’m writing a book about it in the form of a ride report I currently don’t think northern moroccan cities are nice places, though
