  1. Yes mate but no riding.
  2. Well he certainly sold his theory to me Pedro, he's the first consultant I've met in 20 years who seems to understand 'phantom limb pain' I just hope he can walk the walk as it were.
  3. One of the first things I replaced on my 250 was the rear shock, it was trully appalling.
  4. Thank feck I don't smoke anymore............ https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/shop/home-and-ents/newsagent-and-tobacconist/tobacconist/cigarettes-20-pack
  5. Nah, neuromas this time . Dude reckons he can fuse them togther and fool the pain signals to the brain.
  6. Bang on , these fucking whingers saying 'I must have a holiday abroad' boil my piss
  7. I'm trying to get in as much riding as I can at the moment. On 22nd July I'll be going in for the 11th operation on my leg, after that it'll be approx 6 months before I can wear my prosthetic and ride again. It's certainly not the idea time to have it done (I would have preferred October) but if I delay it any longer I may lose my slot and there is a huge backlog for surgery because of covid
  8. Don't ride it like your XR400 or a DR350 because you won't get anywhere. There's no power off the bottom so you can't knock it through the gears and let the torque do the work. You have to thrash the engine and then it will make sense, hold onto the gear longer. A lot of people just can't get on with them as they think there's no power but you just have to re-train your brain. My mate sold his 300L in less than 2 months but he's a serial bike changer so that might not say much.
  9. They're still popular with the power-ranger types in Abergavenny bus station
  10. NGK CR7E is quite a common plug, loads of them for sale on eBay. I'd be more concerned about a mechanic who tells you to supply your own parts It does look like a fit of a fiddly job to change them but definitely doable. Here's a video I found on youtube...........
  11. It's a great engine, I can't see what weight it is but if they can get it at 150kg or less it could be a proper litlle pocket rocket............. Just had a look on the UK website, it's 188kg
  12. No problem Fred, it was Dave's advice that helped me out with mine .
  13. No problem, it will go onto eBay then .
  14. It looks like you caught that just in time Fred, pay attention to the cam chain tensioner while you're in there. The one on my XR650L caused me a fair bit of aggro.
  15. Lol, it's nothing bad at all. I have an unused Riders's Manual for R 1200 GS and I wondered if you wanted it. It's 09.2009 1st edition . Like I say , if you want it I will post it too you.
  16. Absolutely, my wife took our son for his second jab on Saturday and they jabbed her as well, she came home quite shocked
  17. No, she doth drink from the furry cup
  18. Coming to a beach near you soon Pedro and Sofia
  19. I might choose to get my leg back................ BUT........................ what would be the point if I no longer had a bike to ride. I'm not feckin walking everywhere
  20. Ok, hopefully this will get your attention Pedro, what year is your bike ?
