  2. What do you expect, this gubberment is in hock to the money men, they're calling the shots.
  3. No, it's hard-wired via a switched live fusebox.
  4. I have my Garmin Montana hardwired but you can also use it (and I have done) with 3 x AA batteries, on the batteries it will last about 5 hours.
  5. Yes, my neighbour was like that. Fine on the first one apart from the sore arm but fecked on the second jab, in bed for two days. Personally I think all the jabs affect different peeps in different ways.
  6. If there's one thing I really miss since loosing my leg it's swimming. I love swimming and i'll still swim in rivers and the sea but public pools are too much of a faff.
  7. If that was a Ducati she'd be kissing the tarmac
  8. I'm really glad I made the decision not to got to France this year, isolating in a hotel for seven days before you can do your trip is no fun at all.
  9. Astra Zeneca works against the Indian strain according to the gubberment scientists but unless they clamp down on it I fear the June date of all restrictions lifted will be extended.
  10. I like that as well Fred but it really needs a 19'' wheel on the front.
  11. Fettling the Rally today, 2nd jab tomorrow, possible ride on Sunday, Monday (bank holiday) probably working .
  12. I was a winger as well Ian, I rarely saw the ball though as both our centre's were greedy bastards so the ball never got out to me. Eventually I told the sports master I wasn't playing anymore as I wasn't in the game, he moved me to flanker where I got hammered in every scrum
  13. I imagine that's the last time you held a rugby ball
  14. You're going to the hospital in Granada ? you'll probably bring back the plague
  15. I'm not getting involved in this ..........................
  16. Everytime I see a photo of your wife I think you're definitely batting Fred
  17. Its cider, cider always looks like your sample
  18. I stopped at a pub in Hook Norton yesterday, my last visit was 13 years ago Anyway, it was good break and I had a lovely Pizza
  19. This is going to sound strange Pedro but my wife gave me a good tip once for removing glue residue......................... Mayonaise, and it works
  20. Lots and lots, the river rose eight foot overnight. Here's a photo where we are pitched, look the the left and you can see the top of the steps down to the shingle beach, the second photo shows how it normally looks.
  21. We arranged it when covid restrictions had the rule of 6 but as it eased we invited a couple of others. It was great to meet up again and the friday evening was a good laugh but we had to eveacuate the site on Saturday morning as the river Wye was about to burst over the banks. So I just rode a long loop home yesterday following my nose and dodging the showers
