When I worked in the pit I did not mind day & night shifts, but afternoon shift I hated, could not do much in the morning before work, and too late to do most things after the shift, it just seemed to be bed & work.

Stripped the disc pads out of the scoot......put a bit of Copper Slip on the back plates..........when slowing down to a stop the noise it made had dogs covering their ears.....

Yep you have to be careful. I had a private pension and the pension company (Aviva) decide they wanted £300 per year to manage MY money. I cashed my pension in, they tried all they could to dissuade me from doing so, I took the tax hit rather than inflate their profits.
