  1. No that is my daughter in (common) law......it is her daughter who is doing her CBT My daughter, has travelled far with me, to the coast, BMF rally and into Derbyshire many times.
  2. I should add that my daughter had a Piaggio NRG 50cc, I de restricted it (naughty me ) so it would do 45mph, she used all of that speed, but did not ride like a idiot, so in that time she never dropped it or had a crash. Then she swapped to a car and had two bumps in the 1st year.
  3. She rode pillion with me once, enjoyed every minute of the ride, she wants to do it again this weekend too. She has ridden a push bike for years, so it is not like she has no road sence, her mother knows no one who owns a bike, or had a accident, think she is just assuming the worst.
  4. Granddaughter is going to take her CBT in a couple of weeks. So today she took most of my wife's bike/scoot gear (helmet, gloves, jacket (textile), trousers (textile) and boots) in preparation for the big day, her mother not very happy about it though.
  5. I remember that Pete was very good at making barriers out of cardboard boxes to put around his previous bikes..
  6. My brother in law assemble a flat pack wardrobe in their bedroom, he was not very happy with it as the doors dragged on the carpet..........I looked at it, and noticed the plinth was on the top......he was not best pleased when I pointed out he has assembled it upside down
  7. I bought a Yardmaster steel () garden shed years ago, thought it would be more secure than a wooden one, how wrong I was on that score. I assumed it would be a relatively easy thing to assemble, once again how wrong was I. Every panel, frame section and fittings where clearly labelled. But why did it have to be "using fitting A527....connect panel B542 to door support C192".......not part 1 to part 2 using part 3........
  8. But in the month of March I can watch the professionals at work. They are coming to (try) do the repairs on the mould/damp on the ceilings and walls, and sort out the windows too. The girl/woman who spoke to my wife and said it will cause such a mess that they will redecorate all through the bungalow, we don't have wallpaper so the job will be easier for them. Hope we ain't living in a building site for the month.
  9. I do not have the tools or facilities to do any jobs like that.......so most things I do are bodged.
  10. If anyone already has a CFMoto 650Tr it could be a good donor bike.......I would offer him £450 for it, no more, too many if and buts about it condition.
  11. It's about the right price for a scrapper.
  12. Nope ............the brakes are no worry.........but it does not have the tank petrol cap fitted.....for how long?.....rusty tank? Most important thing is, does the FI light stay on or flash, if it does its a sign that the control box is on the way out, and that's a very big problem.
  13. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/536583595119257/?ref=facebook_story_share Thinking about it....its cheap and reasonably close.
  14. Glad your both feeling better. I seem to be fine now, no symptoms and energy seems OK.....not that I have been doing much lately..
  15. https://www.facebook.com/reel/3496000614016581?s=yWDuG2&fs=e Saw this and thought of @boboneleg

  17. Happy birthday Mrs.Jones.
  18. Granddaughters 9th burpday today . Just a usual weekend for us..
  19. We get one bill for our gas & electricity....
  20. We payed £160 last month..........but that is DUAL fuel. And we are very frugal with gas & electric use.
  21. I honestly can't remember when I had the last one on my car, on 2 wheels it was 2008......
  22. Should have said that I do not know how much for a car tyre.........so long since I had a puncture. Shit...you watch I will get one now.
